Re: Are they clearing the gyms
There is a rate for sectional, district, regional and state games so some officials may make $70 and some may make $150. Regular season games are usually paid by a league rate it don't think anyone paid $60 this year.

Re: Are they clearing the gyms
The state doesn't have anything to do with the sectional and district tournaments the Southeast District Board does. They do pay milage at all levels, if you travel a certain amount of miles. The "better" officials are supposed to be working on the tournament level.

Re: Are they clearing the gyms
It isn't $90 bucks a pop and the refs are assigned by the district board where they are going do they aren't pulled anywhere. They give the class every year I don't think they pick and choose who can take the class.

Ironton and Valley are D3 and South Webster is D4, Waverly is lucky if they get the 4 seed.

Re: DV R19 Final: Bucyrus Wynford vs. Lucasville Valley
So it is apparent that the OHSAA is more concerned about where they play the games then the officials that work the games. Interesting but consistant. LOL.

I will agree with condition, but you can't tell me that they won't play on a field just because it is grass.

Re: WEEK 9: MINFORD @ WAVERLY
Wah, Wah, Wah maybe the officials at Waverly last night were related to the officials at your place last year! Music caused a false start, that's a good one too. We couldn't push anyone down on defense so I highly doubt that we did it on offense. How about this Waverly 35 Minford 31 GOOD JOB TIGERS!...

Re: WEEK 9: MINFORD @ WAVERLY
So at 1-7 and coming back from 24 down and we still can't give any respect. Thanks to Burg and West for the support this past week and kudos to the kids and coaches from Waverly for the effort. Minford kids keep your heads up Waverly isn't really as bad as everyone thinks they are!

Re: WEEK 9: MINFORD @ WAVERLY
Did it last week still gave up 200 yards rushing to Bricker alone. Not upset at you upset at the situation, 200 yards rushing to a team is bad, 200 yards rushing to one person is worse. Doesn't matter what you line up in just need to play your responsibility and then get to the football and when you...

Re: WEEK 9: MINFORD @ WAVERLY
14-14 at the half against Wheelersburg I think you should come out after the half thinking you have a pretty good shot at winning the ballgame so I am going to say we could be 3-5 at this point. All that is over now and we are 1-7. It is time for the kids to step up and believe in themselves, play s...

Re: WEEK 9: MINFORD @ WAVERLY
1-7 against teams that are 48-16 surely isn't what you want, but I would hardly call it a terrible year. I guess 4-4 against teams that are 32-32 does sound a lot better.

Re: WEEK 9: MINFORD @ WAVERLY
waverly should have 9 guys in the box 1 db and a safety over the top when minford is in the 1 receiver set when its 2 receivers its a bubble so slide the lb out to cover, and then run the football the whole game power football like they did against burg in the first half except this time dont quit ...
