$2.37 at some stations in Portsmouth

It's been $2.24 in Lucasville for 4 or 5 days and its been $2.46 in Portsmouth and Rosemount during the same time. Now that's price gouging I don't care who you are.

Dropped to $2.56 at some stations in P-town this morning (most of them are the pay cash get $.06 off which, means it's $2.50) and it's still $2.68 at the others.

Yes I know the GOV can tax gas. I was talking about LOCAL government not STATE. Can counties, cities, townships, etc. tax gas. Gas is $2.45 at the BP in Latham. 5 miles down the road it's $2.62. I know that if I'm going to be going to Pike County within the week I only buy $10 of gas or so locally so that I can fill up there for usually 20 cents cheaper.

The differences in gas prices are crazy. I wander if some local governments can tax gas? If so then that would explain the 10 to 20 cent differences in prices at stations just a few miles apart.

I don't use diesel but, I can't see how it can still be over $3 a gallon down here.
