Re: Oak Hill Declines TVC Offer: Remains in SOC
So what has happened? Will the position be posted or not? I watched a little bit of the video. It sounds like because the superintendent didn’t give the go ahead on the renewal, the board of education now has to vote 4-1 to keep the coach instead of a simple 3 vote majority. Not sure when the next ...

Re: Rio Grande Bringing Back Football
TJ Carper would be a great hire for Rio imo. Not sure he would apply but he has the enthusiasm to build a program. Played at Marshall and has been successful everywhere he’s been.

Re: Oak Hill Declines TVC Offer: Remains in SOC
Thank God. The TVC dodged a bullet with that one. Not if the SOC decides to expand and poach River Valley and Wellston. They can have River Valley. The Rutgers of the TVC. Well, that's not true. Rutgers at least has won a couple B1G championships in a couple sports. River Valley has won zilch in an...

Thank God. The TVC dodged a bullet with that one. Not if the SOC decides to expand and poach River Valley and Wellston. OH would’ve evened the Ohio division. I would like to see the TVC rotate the non conference week because it’s a lot more difficult to find a non conference game every year for VC ...

Sounds like that may have been the plan!art_vandelay wrote: ↑Thu Apr 18, 2024 11:44 am So basically Oak Hill only applied to TVC to get SOC to fold to their demands? Well played Oak Hill, well played.*

Re: *Breaking* TVC Accepts Oak Hill (OH BOE to Vote)
Well……..SOC going to 3 divisions if they can get 1 more big team. So if they get 1 team they’ll have 2-4 team divisions and 3rd division will remain SOC2 teams Portsmouth? I doubt it, biggest question is going to be what team will leave their league to go to a 4 team conference?? Ironton is current...

Re: *Breaking* TVC Accepts Oak Hill (OH BOE to Vote)
Idk anything about it being simple or how it’s done. I just know the coaches went out of their way to make an independent schedule and find other schools but the administration wouldn’t do their part. Whatever the easiest option is, that’s what I expect the administration to do and it’s reflected w...

Re: *Breaking* TVC Accepts Oak Hill (OH BOE to Vote)
Don’t be surprised I mean they applied and accepted. OH has wanted to be moved out of SOC2 play whether that’s adding a division or what they’ve been adamant they were done. So while I’m sure that coach was being completely truthful, LOL, facts are at least in football they want zero to do with SOC...

Re: *Breaking* TVC Accepts Oak Hill (OH BOE to Vote)
It is Oak Hill's decision. They should base the decision on what is best for the students and the community. Any conversations about whether to accept the invitation should have happened before seeking admittance. Whatever the school board decides will be a decision they will have to live with for ...
