Valley has a "test" the night before this game with Oak Hill also!!!! This weekend will help us to see where Valley 'stands' early in the season.

Valley was 7-16 from the line, so they struggled again... I am VERY pleased that our boys are able to pull these close games out but I AM VERY concerned about the shooting from the line going forward. This has been a problem for us over the last couple of years and it seems to be a BIG issue again ...

I apologize! They did slightly better than I thought. Crowd was great and boys on both sides played hard. It was a fun game to watch.

VALLEY MUST work on free throws!!! They will never make it out of regionals the way they shoot from the line. My guess is they were about 45-50% from the line and missed a LOT of front end one and one's. Something to work on!

Hats off to Minfords staff for allowing and wanting to play that caliber of a team. Most coaches might b more concerned about their record vs getting their boys an experience of a lifetime. Minford will do well this year and this lets them know and other top teams that your not as good as you think...
