I hope NY gets to play Alexander before the season ends. They have played every year since 1972 - 48 years. NY leads the series 45-2-1.

The top 8 teams in each region get a bye week next week to start the playoffs. Are those teams still allowed to play a ten game season, even though they are going a week without playing anyone? I hope everyone has the chance to play a full ten game season.

I remember some said that Warren and Marietta also applied to the TVC as individual schools along with Fort Frye. Were they voted on too?

Did you know that the distance between McArthur and Beverly is only ten minutes longer than the distance between Nelsonville and Oak Hill? If Fort Frye is too far away for Vinton County to travel, then Oak Hill is too far away for NY to travel.

I would have liked to see Fort Frye in the TVC. Too bad. River Valley and South Gallia should be grateful the TVC took them in to begin with, then to vote against the majority? When is the media going to pick up on this story? If Fort Frye, Warren and Marietta have applied to join the TVC, reporters should be on that. It’s not like much else is going on right now with cancellations galore.

Hopefully some cancelled non-league games can still be played after schools are eliminated from the playoffs.

For NY, that would include: Fort Frye, Oak Hill and Berne Union (plus the cancelled conference game with Alexander, which should be given highest priority).

Fun fact: the tri valleys of the Tri Valley Conference are: Ohio, Hocking and Muskingum. For whatever reason, the conference has never expanded into the Muskingum Valley over the years.
