First, this is high school football. Second, these young men work hard, starting in August and running thru October. Win, lose or draw all the young people deserve our support. Congrats to Ironton, but beating Portsmouth in football is not a good measure for your team. PHS football is in such trouble they would have a hard time winning in the SOC I. IMO...

I miss the days of Prince Trojan and the 7 pages of harmless banter. That was fun. Now every thread gets poisoned by these same clowns with 2 or 3 logins. As far as the game, Portsmouth has shown improvement. I expect a good game. Where did the toner man go? Also, the other blog gone as well!

Friday morning, any news on the brackets and so Forth!? Hope you all have a great, safe and competitive tournament. Was able to attend three years ago, live in Arizona and I really enjoyed the games, atmosphere and food.

It is football, what do you expect? Sure hope the Trojans will be competitive this year.

Sad day in Trojan land as we lost coach Weinbrecht. Coach has been in poor health for sometime. Raise up prayers for his family during their time of grieving.

I, for one, would be very surprised if JHS were accepted. It would create an odd number league, someone moving to another division (or another school joining) and would bring in a school much larger than the rest. IMO Jackson does fit not SOC, however I hope they get in. Just my two cents worth.
