Re: Round 2 (7-2) Bishop Ready vs. (11-0) Portsmouth West

Parking is no longer a problem. The parking lot is paved and lined and complete (they finished that last week) and the shuttle service (about a half-mile away) can park about another 500-800 vehicles, so that's not a problem now.

Re: Is Chillicothe-Logan a league game this year?

Blu_n_Whyt , only Chilli and Jackson will play seven league games this season while Logan and Gallia, and the other teams, will only play six. And you're right, two unbeaten teams would be co-champions, they could be 7-0 and 6-0. Plus, a 6-1 and a 5-1 would also be considered co-champions, it'll hav...

Re: Is Chillicothe-Logan a league game this year?

Yes, Chillicothe-Logan is a league game this season -- but keep in mind that Gallipolis at Logan in week 4 is NOT A LEAGUE GAME! That game was scheduled by the ADs as a filler non-league game, so that game doesn't count in the SEOAL. Chillicothe and Jackson have seven SEOAL games and everyone else h...

Re: Marietta early leader in All-Sports Trophy race

All sports in which the SEOAL recognizes a champion are included in the point totals. And, yes, the boys tennis points were divided since they didn't finish due to that week-long period of rain. I understand both sides of the AST debate. Personally, I'd like to see an AST system that's equitable, ma...

Re: Portsmouth AD Passes Away

I worked with Tom a few times over the past year or so and he was indeed a class act -- always willing to help in any way he could. Condolences to his family and friends and to those of you in the Portsmouth school district. He'll be missed.

Jackson, Gallipolis and Logan have been members of the SEOAL from Day One. I think you'll see the league stay at eight teams (or seven if Ironton leaves). And it is correct that there was one year when there were only five schools and the league survived with six members off and on for a number of y...
