Re: Miller Basketball
Back to the actual team, I think they'll be in a fight for fifth in the TVC. Miller always plays hard and can pull off an upset, but I think they will struggle against teams such as Belpre and S.G. Never know with Trimble, Waterford or Southern. They should win all of their non conference games: Mil...

Re: 2014-2015 Meigs Marauders
I would have called you crazy for thinking they would only Win that many games this year, But Meigs got some very bad news to start the season. One of the players tore his ACL in the scrimmage Saturday and will miss Basketball and Baseball his Senior Year. Is this what ended up happening? If so, I'...

Re: FUTURE OF LOGAN BASKETBALL
Logan will benefit from the dissolution of the SEOAL in the long run. It's too hard to get a massive number of attractive applicants for sports such as basketball when you're making trips to Portsmouth, Gallipollis, Washington County, etc Inevitably, I think the MSL is going to take Logan sometime.

Re: Best teams in the TVC Hocking (Boys)?
Its sad for Miller they got a good team. As of now I heard Coach Bartley the football coach and AD is the basketball coach. I thought Coach Bremer did a great job while coaching there. I heard through the Perry County grape vine that he left beacuse of the administration. I hear he still is a teach...

Re: World War I 100th anniversary
The Balkans are still a soup of anger and resentment today. Yeah, that'll never change. As if the people living there didn't have enough reason to hate those different from them in the beginning, the reign of Tito as well as the atrocities in the wake of Yugoslavia's dissolution has made things eve...

Re: Best teams in the TVC Hocking (Boys)?
I thought Miller had a coach in place what happened? Its tuff to start the season with out a coach. Not that I'm going to pretend to know what is going on with Miller, but they could be in worse positions at the moment or down the road. I know with my team a few years ago our brilliant administrati...

I think Marshall's year will play out similar to the way it played out for the '04 Boise State team or even that Tulane team that Shaun King was the quarterback of.

Re: State Tournament Locals!
Chieftain, what should we expect from FCA's golf team next year? I know the past couple years they haven't been bad, but I remember they went to the state tournament not long ago. They had some golfers this year who also joined the football team in the second half, and they have some good athletes. ...

Re: State Tournament Locals!
I believe Hurd is graduating correct? That will make it a little tougher for them. I believe Fisher Catholic will be the best returning team, with their whole starting 5 returning correct? Yeah, but I would still look for FU to bounce back next year. Fisher should be very solid. All their boys retu...

Re: Best teams in the TVC Hocking (Boys)?
Is it true that Rader doesn't return for Miller?
If I'm correct, they return the small but quick kid with blonde hair and one of their guards. Doughty I think is one of their names. They had some kids that could shoot, but Rader was their biggest man and best player.

Congrats to Bloom-Carroll on winning the MSL-Buckeye! Any idea who won the Cardinal Division?? I'm sure it was Fisher Catholic, but anybody know all-league, medalists? Fisher won the Cardinal. I am told it was Fisher, then FCA, then Millersport. Fisher has three juniors that were on the team that f...

This is a program that has gone through coaches like a hot knife goes through butter. I'm not sure what was up w/ the guy they just hired... Matheny? But I think that program is in between a rock and a hard place and that rock is turning into a boulder. I'm willing to bet economically it is not an e...

Re: Public school 4 Private schools 0
All I am saying is its not always about the winning the State Championship. You have to look at the Path your team took to atleast get that far. Just look at the final 16 in both baseball and softball for each division. Several private schools beat good baseball and softball teams. I'm not taking a...

Re: Public school 4 Private schools 0
You guys didn't cherry pick a year did you? :) Let's go back and take the last 5 or 10 years (your choice) and shouldn't we look at more than one sport? When you compare the % of Private Schools winning championships or playing for them---to the % they make up of Ohio High Schools----we'll get a di...
