Anyone know how many teams there has to be in order to have a girls SOC? Now there are two and hopefully enough will follow in the next few years to create a girls SOC division.

Minford 8th over Portsmouth last night, improved pitching and hot bats were good to see.

Minford 8th struggling this past week with losses to Symmes Valley, Clay on Saturday and Greenup last night. They play Portsmouth tonight and hopefully can turn things around.

The state report card is not based on student's GPA and ACT scores, it's OGT, attendace, graduation rate, AYP, etc., that would be the academic basis that the two schools are compared with by the state. These can change from year to year, according to how each school scores.

Minford 8th grade beat Western Pike Monday and lost to West Wednesday. They are now 4-2.

The Minford/Notre Dame game was sure a good one. Both teams did well for this early in the season to make it a nail biter. Minford 8th takes two yesterday, 15-1 over Northwest 8th grade and 7-2 (maybe) over Oak Hill 7th grade. Good job ladies, the bats were swinging hard yesterday with several girls...

This week Minford 8th grade team beats South Webster 7-3 while their 7th grade team beat Oak Hill, not sure of that score.

Minford beat Webster early in the season last year (maybe 2nd/3rd game out?) and never got to play the second round game because of weather, they played each other in the championship game with Webster winning so it is possible for that long of a winning streak for the Jeeps.

I hate to hear the Griffith's have changed schools, if that is true. Both are solid players. There will probably only be a few freshman players come out, there were only a couple that played in junior high, one might get some play time and has always been a better than average player coming up, able...
