Re: Catholic Schools versus Public Schools Fair Play?
"Catholic schools in general are better".......could that possibly be because they can pick and choose who their students will be? Also, the "beating a dead horse" argument is totally bogus. If something is wrong and everyone is doing it, it is still wrong. If something is right...

Re: Bad Refs, No Way!
Seen some very bad refs last 3 years. Waverly vs Hillsboro game last year in my opinion was one of the worst. Wasnt there for either team but if I was the AD I would have had a serious conversation.

Re: Bad Refs, No Way!
I feel that there are fewer and fewer refs that are objective in their calls. There are a few good ones around but i feel the majority are either power hungry or off their meds in the southern ohio area. The big thing the past few years has been you cannot restrict the forward progression of the off...

Bad Refs, No Way!
No one is perfect. With that said, there are bad salesmen, bad Doctors, bad police officers, bad farmers etc that just are not good at a job. Anyone experienced some really bad calls this year in basketball. In your opinion of course.

Catholic Schools versus Public Schools Fair Play?
It seems like every year in the regional or state tourney you end up playing St. Somebody, or a Private pay school. When you can offer scholarships to basketball players and recruit the best players from other schools, how is that fair?

Re: EASTERN BROWN vs. NORTHWEST
Lawson ended with 22. Starters pulled early in 4th. He would've easily been in the 30s the way he was shooting if in full game. Sorry Watched eastern several times this year not impressed. They were even beat by the Hillsboro team with one Hillsboros scorers out due to injury.if Lawson shot 25 shot...

Re: Chillicothe making pitch to join SCOL
We only have 4 so im not gettin ahead of myself. HOPEFULLY 5 after this year Im just saying ive watched them play 4 times this year and they are not impressive, regional and state titles are impressive. A team can have 10 district titles if its an easy road. Chilli just has reputation of choking. N...

Re: Chillicothe making pitch to join SCOL
BVMv4life Chillicothe is far from a powerhouse in basketball. Few years yes but over the long haul NO. You could make that statement for a program say like Portsmouth OH. I would estimate that only people from Chillicothe View them as a Powerehouse over the past 20 years. The have good athletes but...

Re: Chillicothe making pitch to join SCOL
Offseason makes a player, not the season. I love it when people say if we arent in a certain league we will go nowhere in postseason, lol. The player is as good as he develops his skill. once the season starts they either got it or they don't..they can get sharper yes or polished but being in any le...

Re: jackson v. Chillicothe @southeastern
Cavs will win but the big man and the teams ability to get him the ball has been shameful at best. Hi stock has went way down. Portsmouth just man handled them. Sorry
