It's competitive bc there are 3 or 4 pretty equal teams at the top. But it is still a little down compared to Burg, Fort Fry, and the upper half of the state.

Chesapeake will not score 77! They probably could but this is a very respectable coaching staff and coach Riffe from Gallia was on Phil Davis staff at Chesapeake with Andy Clark in the mid 2000's. Their is a lot of mutual respect between the two.

And those are the same parents that were calling for Knipps head 2yrs ago.. Lol But from what I saw last week, playing even with a bad oak hill team until late in the game the Redmen might not be as good as they think they are! 10-0 IMO is not possible for any OVC team as the conference is too heavy...

CG can absolutely win the OVC. They just haven't gotten much love by the had a bye week 1. For the likes of Chesapeake, Rock Hill and Portsmouth being mentioned on this thread really makes my heart smile! The OVC is on the upswing, are they the best conference in the area? NOPE. But they do have a few teams that IMO can compete with almost anybody on any given night.
