I think this is old news. My memory isn't the best in the world but I think this was brought out last year. I'm pretty sure he didn't play for USC last year as the article states.

I thought both teams played hard the entire game. We'll never know if the outcome would have been different had Eastern been hitting the outside shot or if Athens best shooter was able to play. 45-42 is in the books and I enjoyed the effort by both teams. One note on the officials.....this was the 3...

I might be wrong on the final but the scoreboard showed 45-42. I assumed credit was given to Lynch for the last three. Maybe it was taken off?

I know I'm in the minority but now I can can get time off again. Being low on the totem pole when it comes to scheduling vacation, I haven't hunted muzzleloader season for many years. Now that it's back in January I can easily get a couple of days off.

We all know high school sports is cyclical, especially in the smaller divisions. A few years back the Eagles were loaded and then heavy graduations brought them back to a sub .500 team. Eastern will go back down and South Gallia will come back up.
