Can someone explain what happened before the tip of this game? The officials made St Clairsville players take of their shirts that were under their uniforms? It delayed the start of the game, was there a rule issue with them?

93 I referring to weaking as less physical league not quality of teams. I think the Ohio division was pretty good as a whole and again I think football has Athens ready for a physical game, they should be fine.

Ther refs that had that game are working the boys State Tournament this year and have worked it in the past so they couldn't be that bad.

Seriously these should be two fun games to see. The strongest team will survive. Athens would seem to play in the weaker league which is meaning the less physical league but most of the Bulldogs played football and are stronger then they seem so look for them to adjust well to a physical game.

Good point, most fans never see the veterns game in and game out. They call the same why every night regular sesaon or post season. A lot of schools like Meigs county hire the same local guys that call ever little touch and shoot tons of foul shots. Thats not how most of these good vetern officials ...

Athens/Warren rematch should be good. They can now settle the block/charge/no call by those guys from Glouster or where ever they are from. However the winner of this game will be running up to st Clairsville they are just way, way to tough.
