Re: An early look at the 2011 Season

I am interested in what teams will be potentional SOC champions this coming season. Waverly, Wheelersburg, Minford & South Webster have been the leaders of the conferences the last several years. Will they still be or are there other teams that will step up?

Ptown - 65
Burg - 56
A lot closer than score indicates.

4th - Were South Webster and Hiland very similar teams? The scores indicate that they are.

Re: Alexander at Minford

I was shocked by the Minford/Adena score, not by the winner, just the score. After watching Eastern play earlier, I would have expected Alexander to win by a few more than three. Am I correct that the winner will face South Webster or does South Webster have to win a game to advance to play this win...

Re: clay@Eastern 10-11-10

The results of this game surprise me. I would have thought the score would have been more for each team. Eastern should have pulled this one off before the tournament drawing.

Re: Wheelersburg vs Webster

Am I correct, from reading this thread, that the score was SW 4 and Burg 1 when the red card was given?

Re: Top senior in soc1

After watching most of the SOC I teams play this season, no question C. Scott, J. Wright, A. Rice, A. Miller, B. Patterson, B. Malone & Z. Wright are the top players. This group could possibly be in the top 10 of the SOC II also. The question to be asked is, do good coaches create good players o...

Re: Waverly at Wheelersburg

Home field advantage is very important in this game. Weather may be a factor also. I would very much appreciate updates during the game.

In years past, Drew Saunders was a "true team player"! I have not had the chance to watch Waverly this year.

Waverly is a SOC II team, but I believe Valley and South Webster compete in the SOC I division of soccer.

Re: Top senior in soc1

South Webster's seniors have to be the top group of seniors in the local area but when they meet teams from outside the local area they will have to display a level of play to continue their season into November.

Re: soc 2 10-11

I would like to see SW win the SOC2 this year but it will be tough with Burg, Waverly, and Oak Hill in the mix. This should be an interesting year to say the least. I am anticipating some intense games this winter.
