I didn't see Darren's comments in the paper did he say the team played poorly or did he say I coached poorly. I THINK I KNOW THE ANSWER TO THAT. He basically said they were beat in all phases of the game to include coaching...Anyway, I am sure pulling for the Pirates as I've openly done for years. ...

I'd bet my last dollar valley isn't overlooking anyone. Chesapeake has had a pretty darn good season or else they wouldn't be playing this coming week. This should be an outstanding game, maybe one of the best in the region.

Nothing is a foregone conclusion during week 11, except for the Burg/Ironton game...lol

I dont think ironton has the offensive punch to match scores. Ironton will need to win all phases to have a chance and they dont come close in the coaching dept.

Here's what I think and believe. The Burg has two big wins on their resume. Not just wins but total domination against two pretty darn good teams in Jackson and Valley. I know the score in week one between Ironton and the Burg was close and perhaps a bounce here or there could have changed the outco...

This game is typically tight regardless of records. I'm not sure about all the injuries but I'm sure Minford will have kids ready to step in. Valley, too, will come ready to play. The is one of my favorite annual matchups. Lots of fun as a fan.

Couldn't make the game but from all accounts, the Burg was definitely the better team. Best wishes on their run through their regional. Valley kids are tough and resilient.
