Re: Division III Girls Distict meet at Oak Hill with 33 teams!!!
I did some further checking on Baumspage, last year the Central District had two boys districts with 4 regional qualifiers each and the girls had only one district with 4 qualifiers to the regionals. So it is pretty obvious that we lost our extra district to the Central, I would say their coaches co...

Re: Division III Girls Distict meet at Oak Hill with 33 teams!!!
I just did some checking of results from Baumspage from last year. In the DIII Chillicothe meet the girls entered only 6 4X800 teams at Oak Hill there were only 5 4X800 teams entered. In the 100HH at Chillicothe only 14 were entered at Oak hill there were only 13 that is a total of 27 hurdlers out o...

Re: Division III Girls Distict meet at Oak Hill with 33 teams!!!
Yes, it is true there will be a girls district at Oak Hill with the possibility of 33 schools, four will qualify to the regional. I believe in 2002 there was the same situation but the district was held in Chilicothe. Wheelersburg's boys were DIII and there were no girls at the Fairland District, it...

Re: Top Teams in the Southeast Ohio
Coal Grove's boys won the division III meet at Oak Hill last year, they return most of their team. Wheelersburg's boys have dropped to DIII this year and they have most of their team back. So it should be interesting.

Re: 2010 SOC girls
Wheelersburg's Ruby and Schmidt were tough as freshmen. So, I would think they would be strong in the 100 and 200. The relays i don't have a clue.

Why wasn't the driver cited? They hit a pedestrian didn't they, unless the runner was darting out from somewhere, I would consult an attorney.

Re: Southern Ohio Confrence Sectionals
The Southern Ohio Conference had their league championships at Northwest on Saturday. Wheelersburg Boys took first place with South Webster taking first in the girls race. These were not sectionals, cross country does not run a sectional. The district race will be ran at Rio Grande this Saturday sta...

Re: The top CC teams in the southeast?
North Adams and Paint Valley were the only boys teams to qualify to the regional out of the SE district meet. Both return most of their starters. Wheelersburg returns four of the top five from last year's SOC champion team and will add Max Conley to the varsity this year, so these three teams should...

Re: SOC 2009
Wheelersburg graduates only Derek Massie who was second on their team at the SOC meet last fall. Either Max Conley, who won the jr. high race, his brother EJ who sat out last year due to enrolling in Wheelersburg as a Soph. or Brian Stiers who was 4th in the jr. high race will be expected to replace...
