Re: GAHS FOOTBALL 2013

I think this is a good hire. Huntington Ross had a 26 game losing streak when he got there. He started with practically nothing and did a good job getting them back on the right path. His Dad was successful at D3 Logan Elm where he was an assistant and he played college QB. I worry about his youth a...

Re: GAHS FOOTBALL 2013

I'll be the first to say that I didn't always agree with Coach Eddy from an X's and O's standpoint. However, I feel as if he did an awsome job being an administrator of the program. His program was relatively drama free and the boys were led down the path of becoming fine young men for the most part...

Re: Ohio vs.WV

The Ohio peeps are just sore losers. They can't get depth in the tourney so they have to tear down everybody else. Wahama was a strong team. Maybe the SEO teams need to admit they are more like W.Va. teams than the teams from the civilized parts of Ohio? There's more to this than people in SE Ohio ...

Re: division 3 region 12 playoff scenarios

Joe Eitel has Circleville and McNicholas swapped. He's usually pretty good. I think GA will play Circleville and Athens will play McNicholas.

Re: (1-0) Licking Heights @ (1-0) Gallia Academy

I thought we could have run left more than we did. Our right side got manhandled at the line. Russell was getting positive yardage on most of his attempts over top of Williams and Shoemaker. When we DID throw the ball, they were blitzing us to death and Jarrell was holding the ball too long. Althoug...

Re: Aug. 24--Gallipolis at Athens

The team looked good overall. Great first win. Positives: Excellent adjustments by the coaching staff at halftime. Throwing the ball out of our run formations was something I did not expect to see. There were times when it would have been easy for GA to roll over and quit in the first half. They did...

Re: 2012 SEOAL Previews - Gallia Academy Blue Devils

just saying were not a playoff team in div3 imho! not close! Hate to agree with Mr. Negativity, but I don't see GA as a playoff team either. I just don't see this team as having the talent to be as good as the last two years' teams and they were both left on the outside looking in. This week is cri...

I said 7-3 now maybe 8-2 dam maybe 10-0 Let's not get carried away just yet. I ;-) We've still got a lot to learn about this team. I don't know how good Meigs is supposed to be this year, but based on the last few years of scrimmaging them, we may not learn much about our team Friday night either. ...

Re: Parkersburg Vs Gallia Academy

Would agree that Parkersburg looked bad and GA looked good overall. However, without any other competition to add some perspective, I'd hold off on getting too excited or disappointed with either team. GA did pretty much whatever they wanted offensively. There were holes open all day and the RBs did...

Re: GAHS FOOTBALL 2012

Gonna wait to see the scrimmage before going too far and making predictions. In order to win 7 or 8 games, several kids are going to have to make big steps up from last year. I thought that last year's senior class was really deep. We also played in a lot of close games and because of both of those ...

My son graduated this spring and said the thing that he was really disappointed not to get to go to camp with the team. He said it was by far the best part of the summer program. It was an incredible bonding experience with their teammates. As far as the offense goes, I heard through the grapevine t...

Re: GAHS FOOTBALL 2012

Eddy has had 4 years to get this team vying for a league championship, and into the playoff's. I personally feel that the previous coaching staffs would have had the teams of the past 3 years, competing for the opportunity to win the league and get into the playoffs. So I ask, what is different bet...
