I think Whitely will. Given the talent before them, I don't think any of the class of 13 will be on the varsity level as freshmen, but that class at WB has some really good potential players.

Personally, I don't think high school coaches or AAU have anything to do with D I scholarships. If a player has the talent, they will be seen and recruited.

Great idea. AAU is totally out of control but for wellmeaning reasons. A lot of sports' physicians say specialization at an early age harms players developmentally and injury wise, particularly for girls. AAU also puts too much emphasis on the me not team and brings to much parental involvement. AAU...

Those will be some tough, physical games for a young team.

Oak Hill has a great coach and players. The Oaks should win the SOC next year. WB should be down a little but I would not count a team coached by Barrick out. Minford should be decent. Others??? I don't have a clue.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but we will never know for sure because they do not play and will not play in the future. One thing is for sure. East had a great season last year.

Lance Phiilips played at Wellston, not Oak Hill. Look ar Region 19 and tell me what you think Oak Hill's playoff chances are? D6 schools won't produce enough points to get them in, I don't think unless Oak Hill wins at least 9 games.

I think Portsmouth is a perfect fit for the SOC II and should be init. I don't think NW should get out. You have the atheletes. Make a committment, hire a coach, give them the resources.
