Re: Wheelersburg playoffs?
If things play out as planned there is a high probability that Burg would travel to Minford in week 11.

Re: SOC2 @ (7-1, 3-0) Valley @ (6-2, 2-1) Wheelersburg
Burg Grad and Yabba I expect too see your Pirates on the road week 11 against Fredricktown or Oak Hill....I think that the Pirates have hit full stride and will make some noise in the Playoffs. The way it stands right now don't be too suprised if we see a Falcon/Pirate rematch brewing for week #11....

Re: SOC2 @ (7-1, 3-0) Valley @ (6-2, 2-1) Wheelersburg
Wasn't realy impressed with Valley's passing game. I know the field was wet but someone made the comment on here earlier that the wet field would favor Valley and it didn't. Valley scored on a short field after a good punt return and then the second TD was makeup from Stegmans TD in the first half ...

Re: Wheelersburg (7-2) vs. Portsmouth West (6-3)
Portsmouth East was the school name, the town is Sciotoville We are Portsmouth West, town is West Portsmouth that is the difference. besides SIDERS just sounds tougher than SENATORS. Yea... Senators doesn't have the same luster as it once had. I mean with the recent crap with the economy and the cu...
Re: Region 19
If they can ever find themselves, Wheelersburg could be a very dangerous team in the post season. Alot of sheer talent but not really putting it together in big games so far.

Re: SOC2 @ (7-1, 3-0) Valley @ (6-2, 2-1) Wheelersburg
However Zach Utley should make things interesting, he is the 2nd best QB in the SOC II, next to Derreck Roback. I beg to differ on that. I havent been impressed with robak since he was WR for Trevor Walls and Utley is good but holds on to the ball to long. IMO Aaron Oesch has performed the best out...

Re: SOC2 Minford (5-1) @ Portsmouth West (5-1)
You know all this talk about who is the best back, what about Minfords ole #7. The way he run the ball last week, and the way he passed tonight, he might be the best back in SOC II, this year. Go Falcons!!! I said before this season started that Oesch is the best passer in the SOC. He also runs the...

Re: WK6 Minford 16 Wheelersburg 15 SOC II
After having time to think about the game and read the comments on this thread this is my opinion. Alot of factors go into a coaches decision to make the call in that situation. Condition of your players (were they spent), condition of the field, confidence of your team, momentum of the game, etc. W...

Re: SOC2 Wheelersburg (4-2) @ Northwest (2-4)
Wheelersburg 65% (6W-12.7-3% 7W-15.7-53% 8W-19.2-99%) So the Pirates basically have to win out to get in. 7 wins and 53% probability isn't very good odds, but 8 and 99% are. Even then I think they are on the road in week 11. It sounds like if Craigmiles would get the ball more the Burg wouldn't be ...

Re: SOC2 Wheelersburg (4-2) @ Northwest (2-4)
Sorry but this Burg team is not down this year. They return almost the entire starting offense and defense. I still think this team is trying to find an identity for themselves. If they find it and it better be soon... Look out.

Re: Can the Oaks make the playoffs?
Based upon where they currently sit, I think the Oaks will need help and some 2nd level points to get in. With 5 D6 schools remaining they will most likely lose ground every week on the others in the rankings unless the others lose. Minford win will help with 2nd level as they will probably finish 8...

Re: WK6 (4-1) Wheelersburg @ (4-1) Minford SOC2
That is a nice backfield, but I think I would have Schank at QB with that backfield. Man, would that be tough to defend. Nope not me... From what I have seen he is exactly where he belongs. He is much more dangerous when he is able to get a few yard running start. He sees the field really well, fin...

Re: WK6 (4-1) Wheelersburg @ (4-1) Minford SOC2
I would rather have Pendleton, Sloan, and possibly Westen Hale from Oak Hill or Shankweiler's teammate Craigmiles...again it sounds like I'm downgrading the kid, but I'm not I have watched all three of these backs play more than one game, aned I would rather have those backs...Just my opinion I'll ...

It would be nice to see a Burg vs Oak Hill or Burg vs Coal Grove matchup the 1st round of the playoffs.
Haven't played each other in a while.

Re: WK6 (4-1) Wheelersburg @ (4-1) Minford SOC2
IMO the key to this game is Minford must be able to pass the football and the OL give Oesch time to throw. The way Schank has been running the football, look out. I'm not sure tha Minford's D can contain him or Craigmiles. Before last Friday's loss to Oak Hill I would have given Minford a slight edg...

Re: Shawnee State Fall Exposure Camp
At what grade level in High School should a player begin attending these showcases? My son is now a sophomore and will probably be starting catcher on varsity this year. Never too early to start. I would take him if he seems interested in playing college baseball. This will also get him comfortable...

Re: WK4 Villa Angela-St Joseph @ Wheelersburg
Hope that isn't true about Holbrook and if Bendolph just has an ankle sprain, should just maybe miss this game. No. 23 is Kyle Horner who started all last year at CB, so putting him in there won't hurt. He has the experience of playing the position. Whitley came in last week and filled in just fine...
