Not a fair comparison IMO. NW does not compete year in and yesr out in the SOC2. NW is the only SOC 2 team that East would beat.

VASJ QB was good. Patience in the pocket and a hard runner. I was impressed by this kid. Good skilled players but not very disciplined and seemed to not play every down. IMO Minford is a step above this talented Oak Hill team. Falcons pass defense will be tested. Minford running game too much for the Oaks.

Barring turnovers, the Falcons should win this ball game.

I agree 7-3 most likely gets the Pirates in the playoffs but a loss tonight could make it tough to host based upon the lack of 2nd level points that PHS, SP and RH would give them. With as good as the SOC 2 is this season, this is a big win game for the Pirates headed into their conference schedule....

The Pointers mis-direction gave the Pirates fits last season. Not to mention their RB size. Hopefully not the same this year.

Great run by this POST 23 team losing their #2 pitcher. They battled through a tough field with platoon pitching and finished 4th in the tourney. Good job fellas. Great showing.
