You missed the point Earp. What I was saying because of the precedent set last year snyder and group are probably feeling pressure too, maybe not from the board but in general and this is no more fair this year than it was last year. And I agree with the fact that the kids are whats important I have ...

Re: RIVER BOWL

Also how would the coach of this team be chosen? The winning coach of the river bowl and how would the teams be picked. Just asking cuz thats a job I wouldnt want too many good kids would have to be left out. Anyway this is all very good for the kids of the tri state area.

Re: RIVER BOWL

put the teams from the different leagues in seperate hats, draw them out and seed them like that. While not scientific about as fair as you can get when you're not sure about each other and the level each league plays at. Just a suggestion.

Re: ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL!!!!!!! POST SCORES HERE!!

Fairland won the D and B games but lost the A and C games. A team played very well and was only 1 score down up until the closing seconds. D and B won tight games. Good luck to Milton the rest of the year.

Jim Donnan at Fairland

I'd like to offer a big thank you to former Marshall and Georgia head coach Jim Donnan for speaking to the Fairland Middle School football players today. The boys said Coach Wilcoxon talked him into coming and speaking to them as he was in town for the Marshall game this weekend. Coach Wilcoxon was ...

Re: RIVER BOWL

As far as the 5-6 grade game goes if you want to guarantee a TSYFL team you should probably open it up to more teams. The turf bowl winner could be from WV and the winner may not want to play an extra week. As for an Ohio team the only ones in TSYFL are Fairland Chesapeake and South Point. Thats jus...

Re: RIVER BOWL

I will take it up with some folks in TSYFL but those rules you put down seem fair to me. The big problem will be convincing the winner to extend their season a week. I am all for it but you never know about those guys fromWV
