Re: OVC should invite the Ironton Tigers to join the league
be a great fit travel wise and size wise a couple of schools are bigger. but we could go 10-0 and never sniff the playoffs some years Ironton is a whisker away from being DV with Coal Grove and Chesapeake and getting smaller every year. When Ironton hits DV and if they dominate the OVC in football,...

Re: OVC varsity girls team
I have a feeling you will see a resurgence at Fairland. Jon Buchanon is a very good, knowledgeable coach. the only thing that would be better is if he got Brooke Fisher to help. I have to admit I am prejudiced though,I have known her since she was a little girl and she is very close to our family bu...

Re: Tyler Thackston signs at University of Charleston
Congratulations Tyler and to all the dragons who will be able to play their sport and get an education. he is a well deserving kid who works very hard. Not only pitching but I hear the plink of the bat every weekend from him and his dad working at the field. Again congrats.

I would love to see Brooke Fisher get it but the board didn't hire her for an open health position which would have given them a quality basketball coach too.

Am I invited? We'll split a 6 pack of ensure and an oxygen bottle. Maybe race our wheelchairs?

Re: Somali Pirates Killed in Swift Firefight - U.S. Captain free
As I said elsewhere, great job. FIDO and Boonie can you imagine how long those guys stayed on station and waited to get that shot without injuring the captain. What an amazing job by those men and their commanders. As well as getting the bad guy ,they did it without the loss of another very brave man...

Re: God is in control
It may or not be true but one thing is true, God is in control and things like this happen... Amen Tell that to all the folks living along the Red River in Fargo. God controlled the temperature, weather, and amount of precipitation - but humans [not God] stacked sandbags for hours, days, and miles ...

You're right wassup I found a page from the New York times that had names and pictures of all firefighters that died that day. Brave souls all but that story is completely untrue. A very good story though.

WOW first time I looked at this thread bg those pics and the info is awesome. Found some things we called arrowheads but mainly had fun looking together. That was when he...
