Re: Rank the Coaches...

Peake, I agree with you on this , but I would add Vinton County on that list along with their coach Matt Combs. He has built a nice program there. I don't think you can put a D-2 team that beats up on D-3 and 4 opponents and then loses in the tourney on the ELITE list. Sure they are a very GOOD prog...

Re: Rank the Coaches...

1. Kellough-Chillicothe Over 350 wins, defending state champs. Turned Chilli from a sleeping giant to the class of SEO and a premeir program in the State of Ohio. 2. Barrick- Wheelersburg Goes to state and regionals all the time. IMO The best program in SEO over the last 10 years. 3. VanMatre- McCla...

Re: Vinton County bball vs. Ross county

they still should schedule up and take a few more L's during the regular season in order to get a few more W's in the post season. This is a ridiculous statement. They made it to the regionals last year. Do you actually think they would have beat Chillicothe had they played a tougher non-league sch...

Re: Chillicothe @ Warren 1/23

Bottom line is Chilli had there chances and lost. The way I see it this could be a VERY good thing for both teams. Warren OBVIOUSLY needed a win after reeling from 3 straight defeats. Chilli however will hopefully use this to refocus and not lose again for a LOOOOONG while. I don't see the Cavs losi...

Re: Vinton County bball vs. Ross county

Maybe it has to do with the fact that VC is known for playing a notoriously weak schedule, in comparison to their talent level. Out of the 4 losses, 2 were to SVC schools, and the other were involuntary games with Chillicothe. They are stuck in the TVC and that is not their fault but if they want su...

Re: Chillicothe @ Warren 1/23

If the refs were as bad as I heard, and I believe Dan Ramey(He is as fair and unbiased as a local radio guy can get), then that is what made the game close, but missing all those free throws is what made them lose. My father told me they were something terrible like 5-20 or 6-25, I don't know but ei...

Re: Chillicothe @ Warren 1/23

With Warren losing 3 straight and the way Chilli is playing lately I'll take Chilli by as much as they want.

Chillicothe 61
Warren 39

Much respect to the Warren program. Better days are ahead. You guys have a fine program and will improve.

Re: Best Cheer Blocks?

I Don't know about best. Zanesville maybe??? but I haven't seen them this year. Chillicothe's is Terrible. There are 5-15 teams with rowdier crowds and this team is the defending state champs and one of the larger schools in SEO.

Saw all three games yesterday and I have to say I was happy with the Varsity but I was exstatic about the JV. Those guys have tons of Talent and Chemistry. They love playing together. Hopefully it stays that way. Throughout the night, I was particularly impressed with: Michael Turner- I have been cr...

PinkFloyd: Are your rankings based solely on merit and what a team has done to earn a spot or more of a power rankings, as in who you think the best team is and who would win? I just ask because, at least in my mind, that would affect where some teams would rank...For instance if it is based on meri...

absolutely terrible start time. this game should be at a marquee time slot. not 1:30 in the afternoon. I cant make it b/c of work as a result. I stand by my pre-season prediction that LE wins this game as Chilly still struggles to find their identity. I agree with all of it man. If the Cavs fall, t...

Re: Ironton 55 - VS Chillicothe 49 - FINAL 12/19

Congratulations to the Tigers on a great win over the State Champs. Sounds like the Cavs Melted down in the third though. As was said before, I wonder about Turner's ability to handle adversity. I haven't been to a game yet but I believe that Knights should be running the point, if he isn't already,...
