Re: Warren Warriors 09-10
Unfortunately, you won't play us a third time unless it's in the tournament. And you won't face our sophomore No. 4 starter, then, either. But I will say the Warriors team I saw last Monday was far better than the one I saw a couple weeks back.

Re: Who has your teams home runs?
Colten Maxwell of Zanesville hit his fifth on Monday at Steubenville, a bomb to left. Certain hushed up that Big Red student section for a little while. Hard to cheer when your jaw is slack and agape. ![Smile :)](./images/smilies/icon_smile.gif)

Re: One week into the season, how's your team doing?
Valley is a veteran team, Zane Trace is not. I think Valley returns almost their entire squad from last year. They should get to the regionals this year. I am not sure where those games will be played because I heard the Paints people are kicking high school games out left and right for college tou...

If we shoot it anywhere like we normally do, that wouldn't have been much of a game. But a win is a win is a win. There are no style points.

Steubenville in the ECOL is a virtual lock now. SCC is not. From what I'm told, it looks more and more like IV will come back, but it's not a done deal yet. As far as Big Red football in the ECOL ... bring it. SHS was a longtime series on our schedule before we had to drop it when entering the SEOAL...

Re: Schools with brand new football stadiums in last 3 years
Bid advertising has been published for new visitors bleachers and a press box to top it (auxiliary to the main press box). Unless something bizarre happens, it should all be in place in time for the Week 2 home opener with Licking Valley. The concession stand with bathrooms on that side is not part ...

Re: Marietta and Rosecrans admitted to ECOL today
All I know is when I looked at that Marietta sideline this fall, there were a bunch of decent-looking players using crutches. And I did fear for some of those pups that were on the field that night -- they were simply not physically ready yet for that level of football. But you've got to play who's ...
Re: ECOL 2010
At the earliest. Rosecrans and Marietta are not expected to be fully integrated until 2012.
I do understand we have added New Philadelphia to next year's schedule. Week 3, I think, but I don't know if that replaces Wheeling Park or moves Park to another spot for a year.

Re: Will the SEOAL survive other league expansion?
trojandave .... Perhaps you forget that Ironton fans are permitted to twist the facts in their favor so as to make sure their beloved Tiggers are No. 1. Always. I recall a certain basketball game a couple years ago when the I-towners held the ball almost the whole game on us and then crowed about ho...
