What time does Waverly/Burg start?

It's an uphill climb for sure, but these young pups are going to be something special to watch the next three years!

The Tigers are an extremely young, but very scrappy squad. They may just be young enough to be oblivious to the fact that they're not supposed to be in this game....you never know?

It all depends on what our three-point make percentage is next year, b/c Lord knows that's all we do. We must be shooting about 10-15% from 3-point range this year, but I'll guarantee that doesn't stop us from chucking 30 per game.

Cats, I agree. Minford, Waverly, West, and Burg are all very competitive. You throw in our non-league of Portsmouth and Jackson, and it's a heck of a schedule! I'm excited that the Tigers have some talent in the lower levels...hopefully that will translate to some varsity success in the next few yea...

Waverly is coming off a tough double OT loss to the Falcons (not sure what the Pirates did), so they will be hungry for a win. Last year's game came down to OT, so the Pirates will be looking for revenge...should be a good one.

I think Minford coming to Waverly should be a very good game in the 8th grade.

Waverly 8th over Vinton County 32-8. Tigers are a much improved team with some people switching positions on both sides of the ball.

With all the talk about two games going on at once on here, I think the teams that played in the first game (Gallia and Fairfield Union) decided to play one game that lasted as long as two. :) Waverly/Logan Elm was supposed to start at 7:00, but didn't start until around 9:00 p.m. It was 4 very good...

The 7th grade championship will be between Waverly and Jackson...Saturday, the 25th, at 12:30.

Waverly didn't play Portsmouth or Jackson during the regular season.

2/18 5:30 p.m. Jackson (1) vs. winner of Eastern/Western
7:00 p.m. Waverly (2) vs. winner of Portsmouth/New Boston

Yeah, it sounds like your schedule looks like mine. My son played for Key Player last year, and that's a pretty good haul for me a couple times per week. He told me last night he wants to play J.H. baseball this year, too, and of course football in the fall...WHEW! I love every minute of it, though!
