Re: Sheridan (7-0) vs Tri-Valley (6-1)

Thanks for the info, very impressive! Heck I remember when he coached Trimble and had that long curly hair, more of an " Afro". Great coach and a good family man.

Re: Sheridan (7-0) vs Tri-Valley (6-1)

I agree, Tri Valley although a very good team and program now is no Stuebenville, not even close. Many feel that Ursiline is the best team in the state regardless of division. I don't have an argument on that, and based on divsion 1 recruits I would agree they could be the most talented! Does anyone...

Re: Sheridan (7-0) vs Tri-Valley (6-1)

Great win Generals. Congrads to the team and the Sheridan community. Well the scrimmages are over as is 8 games and this group IMO should now be mentioned with the all time " BEST" at Sheridan H.S. It took something more than talent to go into Tri Valley after seeing pretty much no competi...

Re: Week 2: Chillicothe (0-1)at Big Walnut (1-0)

Big Walnut's back ups get plenty time, Chillicothe football program STILL very poor, no matter who the coach is!

Re: Muskingum Valley League

mustangs-red, very well put, and if you are who I think you are, I very much respect your opinion. Just got me a little fired up with some of the comments made in the beginning. I believe there was a lack of respect for things that had been done and players that had done them. And alot of smack talk...

Re: Muskingum Valley League

new lex/ sheridan, crack you up? Man, get a grip. I know you are very close to this years kids for Sheridan as you should be, but get real. As I mentioned on the other topic, you want to promote and market this group of kids so bad you just throw crap out and hope it sticks! Or you hope that someone...

Re: Muskingum Valley League

I agree, looks like a two horse race with Sheridan and Tri Valley. This could be the trend for a long time to come. The MVL was really down last year and even worse this year. Sheridan and Tri Valley Schools seem to keep growing and getting tranfers and the others not keeping up. I just think Sherid...

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains

I thought this was over. Ok, I will take the bait one more time. NO ONE said Sheridan didn't have talent or skill, they always do, they are Sheridan. The arguments started after you attempted to promote a player and team you happen to be very close to. Then you threw out a couple of comments that an...

Re: Week 1: Lancaster AT Logan

Mixed feelings on this game. I do think it will be close. I thought Sheridan and Circleville both had pretty good teams and tough kids. Circleville had a couple fast backs, the Chieftains were tested there. Sheridans line was not the typical big, strong brutes Logan faces most scrimmages, and they d...

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains

Oh yes, we know alot of the kids and coaches as well. You see there is 4 of us discussing this and reading this, three from Sheridan one Logan. All 4 also know the coaches and kids. Some of our kids and my grandsons played with Sheridan kids, are friends with them. Two have sons that palyed on the 2...

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains

C- Bolt I hate to fire off like that and have a ton of love and respect for the Sheridan program, but man some get crazy on here. Maybe they should just rent a bill board or something. I do agree with you that the 2008 bunch Culver had at Sheridan that went undefeated would have murdered this team, ...

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains

Sheridan looked pretty good, but doing what they wanted, when they wanted cmon man. Having family from both sides I can get some good honest feedback and every one I talk to has Ellars as the number one back. Also have Busby I beleive he was # 76 as the best lineman? It doesn't matter dude you won t...

Re: 8/14 Scrimmage: New Lexington @ Nelsonville-York

Froggy, in no way am I sticking up for fan of whatever, but dude, New Lex could not win the TVC? You must be into the moonshine! Some folks at New Lex just want to look at the past 10-12 years and give no respect to anyone or anyhting in the past. There is no doubt NY has earned the respect from oth...

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains

Every year the Sheridan scrimmage is a good indication of where the Cheiftains are at. I see no way Lancaster is three TD'S better than Sheridan, no way, and may not be better at all. They do have much more depth. Must get more physical and catch the ball. There is no one in league games that will b...

Re: 2010 SEOAL Previews: Logan Chieftains

Sheridan 28 Logan 7 I was confused at the end of the game. With over 5 minutes left Sheridan broke a long run and looked like they were going in for another score. Then you see the Chieftains lining up and they start walking over to greet the Sheridan players, you could see the Sheridan side looked ...

Re: 8/14 Scrimmage: New Lexington @ Nelsonville-York

I said New Lex is really down this year, anyone from New Lex would proboly tell you that. What was the score of the scrimmage today? My point was even a very bad New Lex team is way out of NY's league, get real. No disrespect to a very storied NY program and history but you had better stay with the ...
