Re: WK 1 Gallia Academy @ Athens

Are you kidding me? No drinking fountains? I guess a thorough explaination is in order for that, doesn't that violate building code or some OSHA regulation or health department code? As nutty as the local health department can be sometimes I surprised by this move. Especially when kids and hot weath...

Re: I REALLY MISS THE TIGER ROAR FROM THE PRESSBOX. DO YOU.

Define ancient history, is that prior to two years ago? Or does it go further? :)

Explain it to me. I thought I read somewhere about a strike, was this a teachers strike or what?

Concession Stands

What's the best or most unique thing you have purchased at a high school concession stand? And please give the location, I might want to go there.

Me personally, I liked the Bahama Mamas at Coal Grove.

Re: Week 1 ~ Gallia Academy @ Athens

2old, I'm not cloudy, I have no interest in Logan football other than for you to explain the 1978 season. See I went to Loganfootball.com and didn't understand what happened in 1978, 0-1-1.

Loganfootball.com......according to my calculations, Logan's entire playoff history record is 2-6. The website is nice and offers good information.

Re: I REALLY MISS THE TIGER ROAR FROM THE PRESSBOX. DO YOU.

I believe Ironton may have more appearences in one decade than Logan has in school history. But he doesn't want to talk about the past, unless it's the last two years, so we can only marvel at his superior intellect. :12224

Can anyone tell me what Logan's playoff record is? When was the last time they won a playoff game? I am not trying to aggitate this any further, just want to know for the record.

Re: Gallia selects 7th Hall of Fame class

Jottings- I do understand that there are a lot of great athletes that span the course of time. I just didn't understand what you meant by "they weren't eligible" this time. gahs4ever and gahs7462- I agree with only one of your points, Gary may not be the best of all time, but he sure could...

Re: Gallia selects 7th Hall of Fame class

Jottings, Why were they not eligible? It's been 21 years since they graduated. I'm going by your earlier post on eligibility that says 10 years removed from high school. I understand you can't get them all at one time, and if 75% of the vote is required of the 25 member committee, is that as a whole...

Re: Gallia selects 7th Hall of Fame class

I don't agree with this "Criteria" as a determining factor. It's bias, a "what have you done since high school" popularity contest. I agree that you shouldn't elect someone who is sitting in prison serving time, or a multi-convicted felon. Shouldn't it be based on what you accomp...

NE's downfall is that their defense is old, and I wouldn't be surprised if that's the last time you see Seau, Vrabel, Harrison and maybe Brushci. Granted NY has some old players also, Madison and Strahan that may go out on their swan song. But all in all they are a young group on defense.

Congrats to the Giants, Great Win, Unbelievable Finish. Now, Bill Belichek....what a horse's hind end! Just got done watching post game interview with him, why even bother talking to the media? OSB- They had a very supportive fan base come down for the game and the student section was most entertaining. What's up with the AD giving them a hard time? Let the kids be heard, they weren't rude or disrespectful in my opinion, they were enjoying themselves and having fun with the people around t...

Wow! I was impressed, first time seeing them. #4's range is incredible, and he can leap. The team is quick and relentless on D, they could have scored 90 to 100 on GA tonight, they had some turnovers. And #24, nice range, good player. The team as a whole, very good, enjoyed the show. Would love to s...
