the refs at ironton will take over in the 4th q just like they did both ironton games in the classic.

i'd like to tip my hat to the peake . a great team. they looked like a well oiled machine clicking on all cylinders. man they can run and shoot the rock, all 5 guys plus. i enjoyed watching your team play. very good and well coached.

sorry pleasanttiger, you should never pick against your alma mater. i thought the cg coach started subbing out way too early and the flyers got back in the game somewhat. i guess it's a learning process for a first year coach as well. nice game and nice floor they play on just not alot of seating.

i know cg doesn't stand a chance, just like in football, but i am anxious to see how they fare against one of the best teams in the area. just hope they can compete with all those great chesapeake players.

for once in my lifetime i agree with bwh, lol. steele always guards the other teams best player and still contributes well on the offensive end. cg is getting better with each game as they grow as a team. most of these boys haven't played for 3 or 4 years so their all learning as they go. a 3-0 star...

sure thing pfloyd. the grove beat clay in a scrimmage today 60-36 for 4 qts. they won a 5th quarter 11-6.

cg not big but athletic and quick. i think they caused 4 or 5 5 second counts. the point guard bare had 30 some pts in the 4 quarters. steele and markins also played well.

4th n goal i understand what your saying about cg beating a young burg team but we at the grove are excited because after what we have been through the last 4 years with randy ward. he had our program in shambles and only 15 kids played in the whole school. now we have 35 kids out for bb and a full ...
