Re: Round 2 Bishop Ready vs. Portsmouth West AT LOGAN
West can definately beat Ready. This is a good Ready team, but not as strong as last year's squad. Here's a little on what they looked like against J'town. READY : - lines ARE small, but quick hands and feet and are pretty solid fundamentally - "back 7" are very fast and fly to the ball (w...

Re: Round 2 (11-0) Louisville vs. (11-0) Logan
I would absolutely LOVE to see Logan win this game. I've seen Louisville twice on ONN this year and they are really, really, really good. Also, they do not make many mistakes (turnovers or penalties). Logan will need to play their best game of the year to win. Good luck to them. Go SEOAL.

Re: Round 2 (10-1) Wheelersburg vs. (10-1) Liberty Union
Looks like there are three games this upcoming weekend that would be "IDEAL" for being played at Jackson. Burg / LU P.West / Ready Ironton / New Lex Looks like at least one "river" town will get the shaft from our favorite friend... OHSAA. I've said this on other threads; don't b...

Re: Is it Louisville / Logan in round two?
Coshocton, Mt. Vernon, or Marion would all be fairly close to even distance between the two. Don't know about facilities in Mt. Vernon or Marion, but Coshocton has nice facilities. However, I don't know about the capacity. For a larger stadium, it may have to go to a N or NW Columbus area school. Du...

Re: Round 2 Playoffs: Ironton vs. New Lexington
The problem with Jackson could be this. If P. West wins, they will face the winner of the Johnstown-Monroe/Ready winner. I don't think OHSAA will place two playoff games at one site on the same weekend. I see that as the likely destination for the DV, round 2 game. I still think this goes to Lancast...

Re: Round 2 Playoffs: Ironton vs. New Lexington
OHSAA has done the unthinkable on more than one occasion and logic doesnt always have anything to do with it. I seem to remember a few years back when Ironton was a #1 seed and had to go all the way to Zanesville to play Bellaire; not even in the same galaxy as a mid point. Lancaster seems to be an...

Re: JV final season Records
Looks like Ironton may have a few good teams for a while. I don't know much about the players or anything. However, only two losses and both were to the same school. ** info retrieved from www.irontonfootball.com Ironton JV = 4-1 (Ashland, KY) 9th = 5-0 8th =6-0 7th = 6-1 (Ashland, KY) () = team los...

Re: Game of Week #4 Chillicothe vs. #1 Logan SEOAL Championship
Cav 11, Not a knock on Chilli by any means. If they can do as I mentioned in the paragraph below my prediction, the score can and will be much closer. If not, the game will be a 3 score spread. Control the ball and the clock and the Cavs can pull the upset. I have no horse in this race. Just a huge ...

Re: Game of Week #4 Chillicothe vs. #1 Logan SEOAL Championship
It seems funny to me that most of the SEOP.com users that are predicting Logan to win by 20 or more....are from Logan. If I can find someone that thought that the Chieftains were going to win by 20...that wasn't from Logan, I'd simply be amazed. Give credit where credit is due...Logan and Chillicot...

Re: ironton, from looking at joe eitel.
YTB, Ferry is a very good team. Their schedule may not be as strong, but they are good nonetheless. A few teams to watch out for in the Columbus area (Licking Heights and Bishop Hartley). Heights is a very strong team and could make some noise, even after losing a few games they probably shouldn't h...

Re: coal grove vs. ironton
CG may have beaten Ironton in 98. They were beyond awful, by their own standards. Lutz' only losing record (3-7).HOWEVER, ask St. Joe's how that worked out for them in basketball that season? Anyways, a bit off topic there..... I also agree that Ironton is not what it used to be. However, I believe ...

Re: WK 8 Chillicothe @ Jackson
IMO, Jackson needs to win this week against Chillicothe and against Logan if they are to reach the postseason. That being said, Chillicothe needs to win this week and/or against Logan to secure a postseason berth. A lot on the line for each team.

SEOAL Playoff Predictions??
We have reached the half-way point in the season. This is where teams jockey for positioning and make a push to the coveted Week 11. Who all makes the post season in this league? Logan, Jackson, and Ironton are all in good shape. IMO, however, Ironton needs to go undefeated or only lose one more the...

Re: WK 6 Zanesville @ Logan
Never got a chance to say "congrats" and a great game played by Logan last week, especially Angle. 5 incompletions?!??!? That's absurd, even by high school standards! Hopefully, Logan won't fall into a "trap" game like Jackson did against Gallia last week. Not that Gallia isn't a...
