Re: Logan BB: 2008-2009 season
Interesting season indeed. Nice job Ladies in your season. When will Logan play the kids that should be played in order to build for the future? It was pretty obvious, early in the season that several of the underclassman were making an impact on the floor but were not on the floor enough. I underst...

Dayton and cincinnati both have several teams, some very competive and some not so competive at the national level.

Re: Lady Chiefs-All topics
SNS, I am sure fewer kids will play AAU as they get older, and that is okay. That is what kids do. just like the numbers in any activity slim down as the kids go through school, spring ball is no different.

Re: Lady Chiefs-All topics
I'll start a discussion. How many kids and what grade are they currently in are planning to play spring ball? Current 6th grade - somewhere between 4-7 kids will be playing AAU, 7th grade I only know of 1, and I know a few of the sophpmores are planning on it. any one else?

Let's try this again and see if we can keep it clean enough to not get deleted. This is the place to nicely discuss the program. If we are mature about what we say, we may actually be able to say something other than the score and Go Chiefs. If your feelings are easily hurt and you are a coach or co...

Re: WV Thunder 11u/6th grade
Will this team be playing out of ohio again this year? I was curious because it looks like about half of your team will be from ohio and the other half from WV and KY. I wondered about the rule about only three kids per team being allowed to be out of district. Or did that rule get changed this year?

Re: Logan BB: 2008-2009 season
AHHH, AAU one of my favorite subjects. First of all, Nagol aren't you forgeting a coach that has been in the system for several years that has also helped prepare the players for JV or Varsity? I think Coach Burns has had a hand in theses players success as well as Coach Kennard. I think the most cr...

Re: its a fair/unfair rule for youth b-ball.
1987, Any kid with the desire to play basketball is welcomed into the LYBA progra, despite who his or her parents are. We don't even make kids turn their t-shirts that have the name of the other program inside out. Right in the middle of a bobcat practice, a current 7th grader had a lyba shirt on, a...

Re: its a fair/unfair rule for youth b-ball.
hey, I think someone tried to tell you a few years ago that one of the programs had some serious issues. As far as I know only one program in Logan has the rule about being involved in both programs. I think the newest program just wants kids to have the chance to play ball, they don't care which pr...
