72x... IMO we turned the ball over way to many times. What are your thoughts? No doubt the team turned the ball over way too much---stats will confirm that. But, I would also argue that we changed our offensive and defensive philosophy quite a bit from last year. (which with a new HC is to be expect...

If we only had a point guard I think our season turns out differently.

72Xcurl...are you suggesting that if---for example---Williamson (last year's PG) had been a senior this year, the Tigers might have been 14-6 instead of 6-14?

Love to hear your thoughts...

Waverly is best described as "under acheivers". On paper this team should be able to play with anyone in the area, WOW...what a difference a year makes! Last year, the Tigers SHOCKED the SOC by upsetting the Burg and sharing the league title. They were called "over-achievers" al...

The Spriggs kid was amazing! No way it looked like he was coming back in the game...looked like he was "walking it off" in his bare feet...I thought he was headed for x-rays. Quite a gutsy move to get back in the game and contribute. Hats off to the Mohawks...they played hard for 4 quarter...

thanks 2010, i appreciate your game summary above. I was told that the Tigers (Arnett) were 2-9 from the 3 pt. line (both of those in the 2nd period) and was trying to verify.

Improved foul shooting by the Tigers (17-24) may have been the difference in this ball game.

The Tigers lost this game with poor foul shooting and mental mistakes. I will say that up front. They had chances to win this game and did not capitalize. But... But...this was---hands down---the worst officiated high school basketball game I have ever seen at the varsity level in 35+ years. The fem...

care to speculate on what the benefit is to having a 6'5" player(Shanks) match up with a 5'7" (or so) guy and put your 5'10"(Kier) guy against Walls at 6'7"? Last night would have been an interesting game to have had Walls and Shanks up against each other. One idea may be that t...
