South Gallia thinks so much of the SOC they turned down the TVC offer

PS south gallia's trips would be way to far for the tvc. They need to get in the soc

Gahs4ever, actually the fb team plays everyone in the SOC1. I hope this happens. With the new facilities being built this would be a great thing.

Is South Gallia joining the soc 1? This would be great since they play a full SOC schedule anyways!!!

seohhoops, yes played there quite often. I wasnt bragging about the 1991 team because I never played on it. I played against that team everyday. The HT JV team won the SVAC that year and gave all that team wanted in practice. Between me and Barnes we help that team get better. The kids now love bask...

I dont think anyone stated that Hannan Trace won any league championships in the 90's. They had good teams that went far in the tourney. The 1991 team never won the league title but went to the regionals.

FrozenRope9, you are wrong about the TVC.....Tim Bissell and Jeff Durst played in the SVAC in 1992. I was a senior at Hannan Trace. The next year Gallia County Schools consolidated and thats when Eastern made the switch.

I have to disagree with you about Chris Tackett. He was a true point guard. Most of Stout's points were set up by Tackett. Tackett was a better ballhandler, defender, and he forced the tempo. South Gallia was up early by as many as 9 points but couldn't hang on. The game was a 3 point game with 5 minutes to go.....Before all the forced shots and the fouling. Hats off to the Redmen but the Rebels keep getting better...

I agree Boogerred. The last few Hannan Trace teams played well together. The 1991 team had almost 6 guys average double figures and the 1992 team had 4 guys that averaged 16.0+ points per game.
