Re: Week 3 (1-1) Waverly @ (0-2) Wellston
Does anybody know what the series is over, say, the last ten meetings?

Re: Waverly 2009 Football
It's good to have Coach Marquez back at Waverly. He sets a great example for our kids and is a great teacher and coach.

Re: Waverly's Derek Roback commits to Toledo
He's a great kid, a great student, and a pretty good football player too. It has been fun watching Derek and I look forward to this season and beyond for him.
Best wishes always.
By the way, make sure you check out Tony Packo's Hot Dogs when you get to Toledo.![Wink ;-)](./images/smilies/icon_wink.gif)

Re: We've Got Greggy!
OK....so....youve got "Greggy". Who cares? South Gallia will still ROLL over both Meigs county teams. Too bad we dont play Meigs, we could make it the Meigs County Trifecta this fall! That's easy to say when you don't have to prove it against the Marauders mercervillemonster. Anybody can ...

Re: NY Football Trivia - Most points scored for and against
D. Owens, Is this the game that the Gail that played tailback, was brought back onto the field to return a punt, and did so for a touchdown, after the second teamers had been playing for awhile. I know Coach Chancey and he would never do something like that, however Coach Meade liked to score his p...

1993 - NY 65 Meigs 7
I was coaching at Meigs then. That was LOTS of fun.

Re: Derek Roback Offers
fbone: Does my comment really need clarification? Derek is a D1 athlete. He was an all state receiver in '07. As a sophomore he had 47 catches for 833 yards and eleven TDs. He had 1,029 all-purpose yards as a sophomore on a 10-2 team. My comment has NOTHING to do with anyone else on our team. What t...

What about D.R. Robinson from Waverly? He did go on to start at QB for Ohio University.
What other SOC quarterbacks have started at QB for a D1 school besides D.R. and Ealey?
...the best SOC 1or 2 QB I played against was BHowell-West. 90-91.

Re: The Official "Who's Next at Jackson Thread"
I can only speak for myself but I think it would be GREAT if Jackson entered the SOC 2. We already play Jackson every year and it's my favorite game of the year. Waverly leads the series with Jackson 13-11 going back to 1984 when Coach Bolin came to Waverly.

Re: The Official "Who's Next at Jackson Thread"
Do you even think the SOC will let Portsmouth in? I don't know. Personally, I wouldn't care if Portsmouth AND Jackson were both admitted to the league. We (Waverly) play Jackson every year and we've played Portsmouth many times over the years. I enjoy competing against both teams. I like and respec...

Re: Which schools are still looking for head coaches
Yeah, I'd say that Coach Meade deserves a little credit. Considering he followed a very successful coach in his father-in-law, he handled a tough job well and he had success. He is a great person and a great coach.

All time Southern Ohio Quarterbacks.
Let me start this by stating the obvious number one, Chuck Ealy. Never lost a game he started at QB in high school or college. In my opinion that means EVERYBODY else is playing for second place.
Who else?
