Does anybody know what the series is over, say, the last ten meetings?

It's good to have Coach Marquez back at Waverly. He sets a great example for our kids and is a great teacher and coach.

He's a great kid, a great student, and a pretty good football player too. It has been fun watching Derek and I look forward to this season and beyond for him.

What about D.R. Robinson from Waverly? He did go on to start at QB for Ohio University.

What other SOC quarterbacks have started at QB for a D1 school besides D.R. and Ealey?

I can only speak for myself but I think it would be GREAT if Jackson entered the SOC 2. We already play Jackson every year and it's my favorite game of the year. Waverly leads the series with Jackson 13-11 going back to 1984 when Coach Bolin came to Waverly.

Do you even think the SOC will let Portsmouth in? I don't know. Personally, I wouldn't care if Portsmouth AND Jackson were both admitted to the league. Yeah, I'd say that Coach Meade deserves a little credit. Considering he followed a very successful coach in his father-in-law, he handled a tough job well and he had success. He is a great person and a great coach.

Several good choices mentioned above. I'll mention also Mark Swinning, Jason Bolin, and Trevor Walls from Waverly.

Let me start this by stating the obvious number one, Chuck Ealy. Never lost a game he started at QB in high school or college. In my opinion that means EVERYBODY else is playing for second place.

What about Matt Smith at fullback?
