I don't know how you can say Piketon has been inconsistant and lost to bad teams. Can't you read? Did you see McClain and Huntington's record? Eastern might have the worst team I have seen in years! It's not coach Fitch's fault either....they have very little talent. If Piketon plays even close to t...

BBallfan1. Great post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Especially about Buescher. FANTASTIC KID! And the other tough ones that stayed. JHSTradition????? Tradition is a joke (change your name) like you did your kids school district. You said it...they were leaving no matter who was coaching. You said t...

The turmoil was caused by a select few parents on the boys and girls side. To say we are still in turmoil is due to the fact of the administration caved and got rid of 2 good coaches. To say that others should do the same tells me exactly who you are and that would be the tasteless thing to do. The ...

Sounds like somebody is salty that Miller is getting his minutes. With Hurst's up tempo style I can see where his minutes would be limited. He doesn't run the floor as well as some other kids. But he does play as hard as he can when he is on the floor. (Great Kid). I agree with several of the other ...

Re: Jackson basketball
Although I am new to this area, it seems to me that Jackson (at least in basketball) is in way over their head in the SEOAL. Does anybody else agree or is this year just a fluke? Although it is true that JHS lost a couple of good players to Oak Hill this year, I do believe that JHS would have strug...

The people of jackson must be adding up ondera and bordens stats to theirs that way they can steal a few wins That's a strong statement from someone that is on the benefitting end of the touchy subject of transfers. I don't think anyone from Jackson wants to see those boys fail. It's just unfortana...

Danicalifornia...your right, what was I thinking. Let's put him in the hall of fame now! I wasn't bashing Liseth, I just said I have never seen the head coach stand outside the huddle and look at the floor while an assistant does the coaching. Just looked odd to me. The only real criticism I had was...

Liseth has his own defensive coach What is this football?? Once again you don't see that on the next level or anywhere else. I hope that works for them! How many seniors do they have? Looks like with the young talent the future might be bright at Piketon. I'm glad to hear Brush will be getting some ...

That was a first rate butt kicking! I'm not for sure what adjustments Hurst tried to make, but he just sat there and took it. I would have liked to seen Jackson run something that looked like an offense. Way too much dribbling which is definately not our strong point. One kid tries to dribble throug...

If Portsmouth loses this game everybody has over estimated the talent of the Trojans. I saw NW play and if PHS doesn't pound it inside they won't be taking advantage of the mismatches the have. I think NW can be pressed too. They're back court isn't the strongest. Piketon didn't press till late and ...

I thought the game was much closer than it should have been. I was very impressed with the freshman point guard for Piketon. You guys will have a good one there for the next 4 years. His skill for a 9th grader is outstanding. He will be very tough when he gets in the weight room and gets stronger. A...

Carey Montgomery, Jackson Board Member, had every opportunity to right the ship last night when a recomendation was brought to the floor to re-hire Coach McKinnis. Since Coach McKinnis was not recommended by the Superintendant, it would require a 4-1 vote by the board to approve this position. Diana...
