Gallia Academy scrimmaged Southern last Tuesday. Southern did not throw their older pitchers. Blue Devils were in control of this one, not sure on actual score.

Re: Gallia Academy

I am sure it is this way in every school, but I can speak for Gallia because I have seen it first hand....IF every kid with athletic ability came out to play football (or every sport for that much) the records would be very different. Kids do not want to put in the time and effort it takes to play s...

Re: New Racine Southern Coach

I know Mike personally and I believe he will continue to be the type of coach he has been for years. I wish him the best of luck in his stay with the Torndaoes. With that said, I believe the way things happened were pretty shady. Coach Wickline has changed the atmosphere for Southern football, they ...

Prayers from Gallia....absolutely hate hearing this. Couldn't image what the family and community are going through at this difficult time.

Blue Devils are due. I believe the rain and wet conditions could favor the Devils in this matchup. Devils win by 6

University of Rio Grande winter league.

Being a new coach in the area, I am trying to find a winter league that will provide an opportunity to get repetitions but I am not looking for something extremely demanding. Any of you SEOPers have any info on this league, or any others in the area? I am just looking for information. Thanks!

Trimble by as many as they want. Not a Wahama fan by any means, but Coach Barr is a great guy so I hope they find a way to compete. I believe the rest of the TVC would love to see an upset as well.

Re: Week 5 (3-1) Meigs @ (4-0) River Valley

If I am not mistaking, the use of Ipads or electronic devices are permitted for stat keeping use throughout the game, however, use by the coaches themselves is a not permitted by OHSAA. It could be my lack of ability or knowledge of most electronic devices, but how would one use such a device in a ...

Re: Week 5 GAHS to face powereful PPHS Friday

Was just informed that their was some vandalism on the windows and doors of GAHS.....Nothing extreme just something to the tune of "Go Big Blacks" and "PPHS" I really wish I believed there was hope that this could fire up the boys in blue, but I don't believe there is much fire i...

I am hoping that playing at home, in front of their fans, will provide the Devils with a little more fire. I will say GAHS will come out hot and never look back....GAHS 27---MHS 13

GAHS that was very informative. I don't know what it has to do with treating players with some respect though. This is a public forum to discuss opinions. No one has to agree with what anyone says. I have been around sports my whole life and I know from experience that coaching is a thankless job. H...

WOW! that was mature. More like Manure. ASS. Sometimes the truth hurts. I just hate to see good kids hurt, while others show themselves on the court, as well as off. Classy.

GAHS . After rereading your post I must comment on some of your remarks. #1 Yes a coach does owe dedicated seniors one of two things. Playing time, or an explanation of why they arent. #2 An underclassman has to be heads above a upperclassman before sitting them out. #3 A coach has the power to buil...

You are right - Seniors should be told they will not be getting playing time because a coach wants to build the program. Then the senior (or whoever) can decide if they want to spend their time on the bench. A Coach should definitely let his players know what's going on and why. I totally agree. I a...

Sorry - Didn't mean to hurt anybody's feelings! I would imagine he has no varsity letters, since he didn't play enough his senior year to get one. I didn't know he was lazy kid. I've been to every game and he seemed to play as hard as anyone out there when he got the chance. Looking at the varsity l...
