Re: WK 6 Meigs @ Warren

Wow, this thread got heated quick...

anyway back to the topic

I think Warren wins in a low scoring game, if they can put together some nice runs, and maybe throw a few nice passes.

Re: Running in College?

Yeah in today's economy a lot of families would qualify, not to mention that a large portion of our population is divorced and kids claim one parent on the FAFSA so their income is low.

Re: Hardest Course in So. Ohio?

From what i hear, and the times from this year, the Warren course is pretty difficult these days, but i always thought that Marietta was one of the toughest as well.

I always loved running at jackson in the evenings, it was a nice course, other than the two hills. Like said before though, once your over them, you can fly the rest.

Re: Running in College?

Berea does have financial restrictions but in today's economy almost everyone in southeastern ohio would be able to get in. They will often work with you if you are close to the limit to. yeah, Coach Johnson is a nice guy and has been coach for over 30 years there to.

Re: Running in College?

Alright since everyone is throwing out numbers, i will throw some out Berea College in Kentucky is just about the cheapest place that anyone who qualifies can go. Even cheaper than Rio...the school does not charge tuition at all. Every student who is admitted gets around 24,000 per year to cover you...

The 1600 and the 3200 meter runs are going to be no doubt interesting. Should be exciting to see Cantley, Wilson, and Dills battle it out in both.

Re: Vinny Zollo- Greenfield McClain

News tonight on Zollo, he has commited to UK as per catspause.com. There has also been alot of talk over there about him going to Scott county or Lex Catholic as said previously. Sad to see a kid with this much talent leave the area, but glad to see him get the opportunity to play at Kentucky.

You are right, some of the boys werent there because of the state choral competition in columbus. For the most part though, a majority of the team went both days.

Warren Boys win 2 meets in 2 days

Just wanted to say that it was pretty amazing to watch the Warren boys win both the John Glenn Meet on friday night and also the Marietta meet saturday. Both meets were against tough competition. I think that learning to run while being tired, may come in handy when state rolls around and some runne...

Re: Warren Ranked 1st in D2

I think it is very possible for Warren to bring home the title and i would also love to see Gallia's girls get a state championship after being very close the last couple of years. I think the SEOAL will start raising some eyebrows once the meet starts.
