Re: Wellson and Warren hasn't hired a new FOOTBALL COACH "Q"

It is my understanding that Warren will be conducting interviews on February 4. The position offers a coach the opportunity to lead a great group of players and join a great community. Go Big Blue! Whom is being interviewed? Is it fair to say that those interviewed earlier in January are not on thi...

Re: Warren Burt Builders Tournament

Who are you to make judgement on a person's actions off the mat that has no direct effect on you. Kids have, and will make mistakes. Come down off your high moral horse and put yourself in his place. I'm sure he feels bad enough about this situation without you coming on here putting him on trial. I...

Re: Warren Football Coach

The last time Warren went out of the system, they hired a guy who set the program back a decade. Google his name and look at what he did after returning to Indiana. Clean house?! They barely fill the coaching positions now. I do agree that 3 former assistants need not be rehired, but you are stating...

Re: Warren Football Coach

Stop the posturing and set up's. Warren is never going to get a premier blue chip coach. Quit hiring guys who have hidden agendas and are planning to leave in four years. Look within your system. There are a few guys who have enough football playing and coaching experience to get the job done, if th...

Re: The future of Logan and the SEOAL

I feel that Warren and Belpre will consolidate soon as well. This school will also be in the SEOAL. As for Logan, they are not going any where. No where to go.

Re: Warren Burt Builders Tournament

All kids won't wrestle each other in a bracket either. This is the best way to get the most matches, other than doing a dual meet team tournament. Obviously, that would be impossble to do in one day.

I think you have a rationale and basis to not only have an assistant, but to get a raise.

Re: Vincent Warren Local Football 2010

Yeah, it worked real well, except for the other sports at Warren that: didn't have buses for their events... didn't have uniforms and other equipment ordered that were supposed to be... didn't get the awards they were supposed to for winning SEOAL... didn't have help for their events... didn't have...

Re: Warren Warriors, 2009-2010

So, this why the SE gets hosed every year on sectional district location? For example, last year Warren and Marietta went to Chillicothe for their sectional when there was one up I77 at Meadowbrook 45 minutes away. I guess that explains that.

Re: Warren Warriors, 2009-2010

Yeah. I did not know this. What if you have 5 or 6 studs. Check my history, but one year Thompson Ledgemont won the state in D3 but only had a half a dozen kids on the team. Four or five of them were in the finals (States) and won. I think this happened, someone make sure. This it makes hard on the ...

Do we have permission to talk about this NOW?! We were scolded last week, and the thread was deleted. Also, could we mention SERIOUS names for consideration and not one or two that were mentioned last week. Something needs to happen NOW!!! The OLmen need to get in the weight room ASAP, as well as th...

They clean them up and dry them for next season's bon fire.

New home side and visitor stands. Field is a little beaten up because of the amount of rain over the last two or three weeks.

Re: Ironton @ Warren

The field is a part-time pasture for cattle and sheep. They bring the hogs and chickens in on Saturday morning in order to clean up after a Friday night home game. Four guys with 4x4's light the field on game night.
