headed south seems to describe the meigs football team accurately.

there is talent to play basketball. unfortunately none ever seems to make it to the floor due to politics or stupid coaching or just plain laziness from the kids. a tradition has to be started. last years team would have been a good point but it was destroyed when simpson left.

meigs made the most important step to a good team at the last board meeting. him not being coach is worth 10 wins!

if saying moe is a better coach than curly is an endorsement then holley has my endorsement. when your head coach is an idiot1. how can you really look any worse and 2 if the head coach is an idiot and is telling you what to do....

this is more about how bad meigs is than how good vc is. this season can't end quickly enough.

then let it lay. yes the kids are the 1's who pay. so let them have the month and then you can talk. if you want to pm me i'll tell you all you want to hear but not in public

none of this needs to be discussed on here. this can't be good for the kids to read. regardless of how you feel about the coach wait until march to talk.

well i was tempted to say there's only 1 varsity but from what i saw so far, there just might be 2 or 3!

well i disagree. there are athletes on the team. those kids can play. they just have no idea what they're doing. they've got 3 kids who i saw dunk in warm ups. the funny thing is of those, only jesse played. the other thing is they have no idea how to run a help offense. no screens, no pick and roll...

they see it. it just out in front of the chairs. did you notice that the 1 that don't play, are the tallest kids? i had this conversation years ago with coach. " tall kids do not belong on the court" can't make that up!

congrats meigs on showing that you can play. yes you can walk away knowing that you left it on the court. juniors and sophs see you next year.
