Re: Marietta (8-0-2) at Chillicothe (8-0-1) Tues. Sept 29th

I hear there is no game tonight - only one official showed up. What a waste of time, gas and money for marietta. Marietta stayed for 90 minutes after the scheduled start time, but still only one official.

Re: Marietta vs. Waverly at Unioto - District Final

Brockmeier threw all 8 innings last night on three days rest, after throwing 130 pitches on 2 days rest. It is assumed he will not throw on 1 days rest.

Re: Average Fastball Major Leagues

This is mtiger24's dad. I question the reliability and accuracy of Juggs and other guns. In college we frequently had our team's Juggs and the opponents both clocking pitches. Usually a few MPH off, but sometimes consistently 8-10 mph different. Ours tended to be slower. 20 some years ago, Andy Bene...

Re: Jr.High Track

10 days to 2 weeks was the time frame Alex. He has a doctors appt. tonight at 6 at sports med if you want to come. :122245 They will discuss if he can run at the Marietta Relays on the 17th.

Too bad Kaylee Lang didn't run track for the Girls. She ran a 5:15 mile last year.

Re: Marietta Basketball

mc40,
There are so many rumors going around Marietta, no one knows for sure what cuts are going to be made. The 8th graders for Marietta went undfeated. The 7th graders arent as good as the 8th graders. B-V 7th could easily beat a combined Marietta team.

Re: Jr.High Track

Alex Wesel has a hip pointer. He injured it during a AAU Basketball tourny last weekend. (4/5)? He should be back by the first home meet for Marietta.

Alex is a really good runner.
