Re: Jerry Snodgrass out as OHSAA Director

This is the email sent by Snodgrass to all AD yesterday. OHSAA was mad the Jerry even brought up confidential court proceedings. It’s no secret that Snodgrass has took multiple shots at DeWine. DeWine was upset that it seemed Snodgrass endorsed the idea of overnight camps yesterday in this email. D...

Recently Snodgrass had called out Dewine in a presser and some think the gov came for him.
This is a bizarre idea.
I doubt it has anything to do with the governor.

Hey Matt, How exactly do your rankings work? Didn’t Coal Grove kick the dog tar out of Southeastern in the playoffs that year?
They are final standings not rankings.

Re: Loss Of Income From Football

Each participant on any team would pay a flat fee to play sport say 100.00 a player this would be forPPE, extra costs of anything pertaining to stop the spreadof this killer. Funds will have to be made up and the school districts that follow sound financial rules will make sure there district doesn...

Waverly has 70+ kids out right now. That is huge for depth.
That’s a lot. Waverly wasn’t big but wore us out last year. A lot of depth
Waverly always seems to have a lot of depth at the skill positions.

Re: Loss Of Income From Football

Caint believe NY pays their ticket peeps money. That should b volunteer only. Next thing ur gonna say is u pay the chain gang. A lot of schools do it. First of all, it's almost impossible to find volunteers for anything we need. You are more than welcome to volunteer just get ahold of me because we...

Re: Ironton - 2 JV Teams Schedule

A lot of big schools do it. It's not uncommon. Maybe in Southeastern Ohio but go up to Northeast Ohio and you will find a lot of schools with multiple jv squads. Obviously. They have probably have 300+ a graduating class. Not 115 If you have 70ish kids playing football, wouldn't it make more sense ...

Re: Ironton - 2 JV Teams Schedule

I still don’t get this. Burg has averaged 70 kids or more for several years now. They’ve never done this. In fact I’ve never heard of anyone doing it. Saying you have two jv teams is strange to me. Why not say, here’s our jv schedule? Play the kids you want in each game. You can't have a 14 game jv...

Re: Ironton - 2 JV Teams Schedule

I thought when I saw 2 Jv teams meant freshman and a actual jv team and I asked and the response was no there is 2 jv teams. How many kids total will ironton have. I don’t know if I ever heard of 2 jv teams. Why even make this announcement? Imagine if you were classified as 2nd team jv? Which...

Re: Loss Of Income From Football

I don't think people realize how expensive football is. At the end of a season football isn't making as much money as people think. After officials, ticket sellers, and ticket takers are paid (I know some schools have more people who get paid than other schools) it adds up. Football has the biggest...

I thought football practice did not start until August 1.
You can practice as much as you'd like. You can where helmets as much as you want. You just can't be in pads until August.
We don't know if 7 on 7's will be allowed this year or if so, when at this point.

Where are you seeing that Federal Hocking won't have a team this year?
Their coach recommended to the school board that they cancel the season.
Does this mean Fed Hock kids can play for Trimble and Athens?
I'm ot sure how that works to be honest.

Hopefully, this is a step in the right direction. It feels like we’re having football in the fall!
Hopefully phase 2 goes well so they can put the pads on in August.
