Re: OHSAA Shortens season

How does high school play in Athens county or any mac school county where college has been cancelled? I hope they play just curious of how that will work? College football has no bearing over high school football. The MAC cancelled because of money not safety. Just curious is that why FCS cancelled...

Re: OHSAA Shortens season

That’s only if Trimble has a non conference week the same as NY. Which they won’t if all of the hocking will have theirs week 1 and the Ohio will be staggered. They only have 5 league games man lol P.S.... Game on Trimbles non conference game is week 1. NY has a non conference game in week 6 (week ...

The MAC cancelled because of money not safety. If the big10 cancels it will be because of money as well.
That means high school football is still okay for now.

Re: OHSAA Shortens season

If I’m the TVC Ohio, I ask Logan to fill our schools non conference weeks and use this as a trial run for a possible Logan admittance in the future. We are playing Trimble if we play 5league games. Sorry Logan..... That’s only if Trimble has a non conference week the same as NY. Which they won’t if...

No. All of that will be district by district decisions.

I would guess if Athens says no in person education they will NOT have fall sports though FWIW. Unless Raider disagrees.
Basically which sucks
Athens canceled their JV season so Varsity is next.

Re: Gridiron Glory This Season

The doors at Nelsonville-York are always open to you guys no matter what kind of show you are able to put together week to week this year.

Maybe doing a live show every week is out of the question but maybe releasing segmants on YouTube is doable.

This move will probably kill Miller sports for good. Has to be the dumbest league move ever
Yeah playing Berne Union every year will just destroy sports at Miller.

Ironton had 70 at practice. According to their Facebook page, they have 700 kids showing up every single day and they are all D1 athlete's  Wow, We’ve all grown so much from last year!!! Good luck to all!!! My favorite was when they shared the open enrollment link with the caption "If you want...

Re: New Health Order for Contact /Non Contact Sports (8/1)

I just don’t see how schools are going to be able to do all of this every player has to be tested within 3 days of the game and the results have to be presented before they can play??? At least I think that’s what they meant That was for 7 on 7's that was put in place for July. They extended it for...

Doesn't look like we will get any scrimmages in but hopefully that changes. It would have been nice to get one.

Re: What OHSAA Owes Us, The Devoted Fans

 That's great if you get service at the field, there are several in SE Ohio that don't. I realize that. I have broadcasted from games. Again - I believe Ohio schools have universal high speed internet in their buildings. So if the stadium is at the school it would not be difficult to run a CAT...

Re: Ohio cancels scrimmages in Aug

They haven't been canceled. They have been suspended for now. The OHSAA has a meeting with the governors office on the 4th. If we are having a fall season then they will finish the details then.
Their could be a chance we don't have any scrimmages but they have NOT been permanently canceled as of yet.

Re: What OHSAA Owes Us, The Devoted Fans

It will be up to the schools not the OHSAA. The OHSAA doesn't have anything to do with regular season ticket sales. Only postseason

As far a live streams go, again that's not up to the OHSAA in the regular season but up to the schools.
Ya'll are killing me
