I don't think you can win running the sweep alone. The defense can adjust to stop that one play. But if a team uses and can execute the companion plays that go with the sweep plus passing the ball showing the sweep action, that makes it tough for most defensive units.. Like any offensive scheme bala...

I don't think Southeastern will finish last if the present coaching staff is retained. They had a good group of players on the reserve team. But if a coaching change happens who knows. Would not be surprised if some kids don't play or even change schools.

Look, all I'm saying that the coaches aren't solely to blame. I think everyone involved shares in some of the blame. You can't just blame the kids after all they just kids. They need some guidance. And just because a coach has success in one program doesn't mean he will in another.

I don't think you can blame the kids solely for their lack of success. I sure there are many factors causing the problem. Remember the coaching staff has to put them in a position to win.

I'm not against punishment but I'm against punishing a kid just because you can. We seem awful quick to kick a kid to the curb rather than teaching him the error of their ways.
