You all missed your calling ..... should have been athletic directors!

Re: SEOAL-2008-Updates

5k - I am basing my observations off of facts - Richards from Warren has finished 3rd the last two years in the two mile at league behind - Weiferich and Wilson - guess what Wilson is gone. Both Roush and Richards will be very solid in the mile, probably not Cantley, Wilson good, but they will get t...

Re: SEOAL-2008-Updates

No one said Warren would not miss Tyler and Nick - for sure they will. The simple fact is: Warren has other distance runners who are better than anyone else in the league - save Weiferich.

It is "hared" to look so far into the future - lets talk about XC.

Re: SEOAL-2008-Updates

Marietta will be powered by - Wieferich, Tabler, Munfield, and Westbrook. Logan will ride - Siegler, Ruff, Neff, and McCort. Warren will lean on Roush, Cox, Dunfee, and Richards. IMO a lot will depend on what happens behind these guys. They will all score their points, but depth wins track meets, an...

Re: SEOAL-2008-Updates

Warren will be good again on the boys side. Yes - I know they are losing a lot - but they return some quality kids and there were kids who did not participate this year that will be back out - who were very good as sophomores and freshman. John Hebb, Seth Wellspring, Justin Hill, Mike Harlow and Jer...

Re: sacrificing your wants for the teams needs

blarge - not putting any "what if" scenarios on those boys shoulders - they were the "heart and soul" of this team - both - for the last two years. Fact is - as they went at state - so went Warren - and they "went" - great - but they will tell you - TC's allergies showe...

Re: sacrificing your wants for the teams needs

fan - both did not PR - TC ran 9:25 following a 4:21 mile two weeks earlier at Districts. TC had allergies acting up all week - no excuses - but he was not 100 percent. He was missing a gear in every race, even the 4 x 8, (believe it or not 1:55 was sub par for Tyler in that race under those conditi...

Re: Warren Boys 4x800 State Champions!!!

Fan - you have it right - we are here - and it was awesome! These kids left it all out there in the heat of the day. Might be the race of the meet - we will see. Majoy led off w/ a 1:58, Roush followed w/ a solid 2:01, Wilson gave the lead to Cantley w/ a very nice 1:59, and Cantley was able to hold...

Congrats to Paige Grosel and Alex Wesel, from Marietta. Paige finished 2nd in the pole vault. Alex finished 2nd in the 800 and 4th in the mile, looked very comfortable running against tough competition.

Re: Marietta early leader in All-Sports Trophy race

I obviously cannot speak for all Warren fans - but as a Warren fan and alumni - I have never "whined" (as Aladin put it) about Warren not having Tennis. If enough kids are interested in it - start it up. We (Warren fans) understand that we do not have tennis and tennis is counted toward th...

Re: Marietta early leader in All-Sports Trophy race

Locos First, I don't believe anyone is asking to change the rules in the middle of the game, simply wondering why the league cannot find a better way to break ties, and better reward athletes for on-field performance. (Warren has been on the short end of the lottery twice in the last three years.) I...
