Great win by Valley! I agree Dave, you have to defend the 3 better...I thought PHS lacked the intensity they brought when they played chesy and Ironton..Valley hit the big shots...When PHS went inside they were money, just not enough touches by Underwood and Mckinley in second half.

Mark Lafon has done a fine job at Ironton no question about it.
Not sure about records of coaches in the early years...
Although Roger Zornes coached for 3 years he compiled 66 wins and only 9 losses.
He's one of the best no doubt about it.

I dont think fouls hurt them as much as this.... Portsmouth shot 54 percent in the first half while Ironton shot just 23 percent and it was 41-24 at the break. Ironton had 3 starters on the bench in most of first half. That's why their percentage was down. I think they were tired and needed a break...
