I haven't followed Waverly basketball since the late 70's. They used to dominate the I Tigers when they had a fellow by the name of Holsinger. Heck of a player.

Two wins against quality opponents this early in the season is promising. Room for improvement is always there. Build on your success.

Ironton and Portsmouth is always a classic, regardless of the sport. I remember playing against Craig Tubbs, Jeff Lisath, Scott Burrows, Scott Tayler, the Bendolph brothers, Kirk McMahon, Jim Shipp, the Wilburn twins and more. Never a dull moment in those games.
