The Fairland Board of Education, by a 3-2 vote, has dismissed Brent Wilcoxon as the football coach at Fairland High School.

There were several players in attendance at the meeting who are saying they will be transferring including Lamb, Hatfield, and Bloomfield.

Fairland and South Point have their rematch Friday night at South Point. It is South Point's Senior Night. The first game is one of the best high school games I have seen in years.

Since Fairland played South Point and Chesapeake the first time around and gave up 72 and 88, the Dragons are only giving up around 45 points a game. I am not completely up on who beat who in the Waverly sectional, so my seeding predictions were based solely on records or what I think will happen. I dropped Piketon due to the loss to Southeastern last night. I have seen Southeastern, so I think that is a bad loss.

Records and my predictions on seeds have been updated (1-9-08). I am not sure on a couple of records (Crooksville and Wellston), but if I have missed a win or loss somewhere please post it.
