Re: does anyone know if the fairland coach resigned last night?
People keep talking about the 90's, but I say look at right now. Boys basketball was 5-16 the year before Belville took over the program. They either graduated their top talent or some players did not want to play the first year Belville took over (Hill, Huff, Fuller) and the team went 3-18. Since t...

Re: does anyone know if the fairland coach resigned last night?
Forget about the grapevine, it is pretty common knowledge in Proctorville. There were several occasions were the boys had to practice at 6 in the morning, so Coach Belville could go scout in the evenings. The administration told Coach Belville he could either cancel practice, not scout, or go at 6 i...

Fairland Non-Renews Coach Wilcoxon
The Fairland Board of Education, by a 3-2 vote, has dismissed Brent Wilcoxon as the football coach at Fairland High School.
There were several players in attendance at the meeting who are saying they will be transferring including Lamb, Hatfield, and Bloomfield.

The bs chant was uncalled for and I know Coach Belville told the crowd to stop the chant as I was standing by the stairs and heard him...not sure why the administration at Fairland did not say anything I am sure Coach was frustrated at the no call as would Coach Davis if the roles were reversed I ne...

Since Fairland played South Point and Chesapeake the first time around and gave up 72 and 88, the Dragons are only giving up around 45 points a game. I think the defensive intensity will be the difference. The Dragons are playing much better all the way around, but the defense is much improved over ...

I agree on the cheerleaders...I do not think I have ever heard of an entire team being suspended (Chesapeake game) or missing a game at the Convo for some nonsense reason. I would think the cheerleaders priority would be cheering for their school. On to the game....I thought the first half was the b...

For the Jackson Sectional: If it is done like it was in years past, 4 teams will advance. The #1 and #2 seeds will receive a first round bye, and everyone else will have to win 2 games. Again if it goes by what they have done in the past it would be something like this: #1 would play the winner of #...

I am still a little fuzzy on records for Wellston and Crooksville. Seems like seeding is changing with every game. We are roughly 13 days from the seeding draw. I do not think many people like the reorganizing the district did and eliminated one of the sectional sites, but there is no doubt we are i...

smegma I am new to the site and I went back to read your some of your posts after reading your comments about Coach Belville. What did that guy do to cause you to hate him so much? I know the first year he was here Fairland was 3-18. Since that time I think he is 36 and 19, including 9-1 this year. ...
