Fairland 80
West Union 52

The Dragons wore down West Union in the second half. Big 18-0 run to start the 3rd quarter was the difference. Coach Belville played A LOT of guys early and it paid off big time in the 2nd half.

Final was 80-52. It was a 5 point game at the half (Fairland lead by 20 at one time in the 2nd), but an 18-0 run to start the 3rd quarter was the difference.

Pfloyd, Great analysis. I agree our guards and starting 5 are good, but I think our depth is the biggest key to Fairland's success. I will disagree with your big 3 being cemented. I would say no one is close to 1 and 2, but I am not sold on VC. Fairland and Huntington are both solid clubs that are w...

Far be it for me to defend someone from Chesapeake, but do not bring up coaching changes as a reason the Senior group from Rock Hill has struggled. Chesapeake is on number 3 in a year and a half. Now I do not know why things have not gone Rock Hill's way and I do not care to speculate. However, this...

Very sloppy game all the way around. I guess that is to be expected early in the season for such a big game. Emotions running high for both teams led to many unforced turnovers. Fairland really has not played a great game this year, but all wins have been by double digits which is promising. Then ag...

pfloyd,

Fairland started the season with 4 straight road wins. At Rock Hill, At Federal Hocking, and At Greenup all being good quality wins. Now the Dragons get a week to prepare for their first home game against a much improved Coal Grove team.

Fairland looked good on defense against Green. Lamb, Hatfield, and Bumgardner did not touch the floor in the 4th or the score could have been much worse. Things will get much tougher Saturday I am sure since Federal Hocking beat Rock Hill.

Took in the game and the Dragons looked very good on defense. Keep in mind that Lamb, Hatfield, and Bumgardner did not play at all in the 4th. This one could have been worse.

Pfloyd, Due to some teams needing to move games, the Fairland Dragons are opening with a tough 4 game road trip. At Green - don't know much about them, but always seem well coached At Federal Hocking - just beat Rock Hill At Greenup County - usually very talented At Rock Hill - in the elite 8
