Trimble needs alot of help now since they had to give Coal Grove that game so they will be lucky if they make it. And if they do and S.G. gets to play them it will be a different story this time around S.G. will lay the wood on them.
It wouldn't matter, Trimble would beat them a sec...

Re: Future of Belpre Football
If you look around at successful programs, on thing you can really say is a characteristic of those programs is coaching continuity. Belpre was at its best when Ralph Holder was the coach. He was there forever. Teams that tend to change coaches regularly tend to struggle. No offense intended, but lo...

I hear the manager at McDonalds has put in for the job. The question is will he do a better job than that used car salesman did with the football team?

Re: Budget Woes: A Simple Solution
Who says you have to pay them anything? Let them volunteer. If I was gonna coach a football team I wouldnt have to be paid to coach it. That saves the club team a significant amount of money. Plus if you localize the teams and let parents transport players, the club doesnt have any travel costs.

Budget Woes: A Simple Solution
Someone alluded to this on a previous post. Schools have a problem supporting sports because of costs. Most sports don't make money. Football used tobe a cash cow for most schools. In todays world, especially at smaller schools, Football does well to break even. This is due to rising equipment costs...

Re: A Great Night In Glouster......AGAIN!
Kids should never be exploited. When a principal sees officials trying everything they can do to help the home school catch up from a huge deficit by calling excessive amounts of fouls on the visiting team, the principal of the visiting team has every right to express his displeasure with the situa...

Re: A Great Night In Glouster......AGAIN!
In case you missed the game, let me tell you about Wahama's win in gtown last night. We noticed in football season that the cats looked a little heavy and out of shape. So we came into last night's game thinking we would run them out of the gym and then let the 3-ball rain down from everywhere. Who...

I know a couple of guys that would be great choices that are somewhat local but they probably won't apply.

I, personally, would LOVE to see him in a uniform at the new program at Rio Grande. Then, he would be close enough for us all to enjoy watching him kick arse for 4 more years.

Listen, I have great qualifications. I am the 7th son of the 7th son of the inventor of the Wing T offense. I brought a cutting edge offseason program to Racine emphasizing cattleballs, and I managed to fight through the basketball program to put up two weining seasons at Southern. While I am no ln...

We don't care about winning in football. I am surprised that 20 people from Racine took the time to control this pool. As long as these kids are in open gym and playing baseball, we can go 0-10 every year and the oldtimers at Slims will be happy. Cant wait to go to the bartber shop tomorrow and bas...

Re: Vinton County vs. John Glenn @ The Convo 12/12
Game two for the Vikings will take place at (recently) their home away from home..The Convo. John Glenn should provide a great early season test for the Vikes. VC is coming off of a lopsided win over Pain Valley (79-54) in which the bench players got a lot of playing time. John Glenn, from what i h...
