There answer is definately no. Last year out of 700+teams, only 2 did not make it at 9-1 (North Royalton, Caldwell) That's about .002%. To take it a step further only 13 teams that finished 8-2 didn't make it, which is slightly less than 2%. No team that went 10-0, came even close to not making it.

Vinton County will be holding their annual basketball golf outing this Saturday (Sept 10) at 1pm at Jaycee Golf Course in Chillicothe. It is a 4 person scramble which is $55 per person. VC was up 24 20 with about 40 seconds left. Piketon had it on the VC 40 4th and 10 and threw a touchdown pass. VC got the kickoff at the 35 ran a couple of unsuccessful plays and then threw a 60 yard touchdown pass as time expired. Great win for the Vikings. Congrats to Justy and the kids.

Congrats to the Vinton County boys track team for capturing the TVC championship Wednesday night. Coach Lindner has done a great job with the team, and all of the athletes have worked very hard. Great job guys.

Unfortunately, due to lack of participants, the girls all star game has been canceled. The boys all star game is on and will tip at 4PM. Tickets will be $3. Again the game is at Vinton County High School.

District All Star Game is at Jackson HS on Monday, March 21st. Girls start at 6PM with Boys game to follow. Admission is $5.
