Re: Ironladies 2011 softball

I have been able to catch both scrimmages. I thought the Ironladies appeared solid defensively, even some subs played well in both contests. They looked like they had more speed, and young kids are going to play an important role. They should be fun to watch & appear to have a very good infield....

Re: Minford VS Galia any updates

Who is injured? I know they battle through injuries last season. Hpe they are able to be quick to heal, hate seeing high school athletes not participate & miss part of a season due to injuries.

Re: Varsity Coaches

I have seen many male coaches for female sports and feel no problem is created when professionalism is used by the coach (such as language & addressing players). I know the biggest complaint I hear from girls is that they want coached like the boys; high expectations, dedication, criticized, res...

Re: 43 FEET

Only works if the umpires choose to enforce the rule of a batter has BOTH feet in the box when the ball is hit. You already have batters extending the box towards the pitcher, how far will they go with another 3 feet? Reaction time will be extended, so you know hitters will push the limit. I would l...

Re: DII SECTIONAL ~ MAY 12 & 15

Could aways end up that way until go back to allow teams to place themself in the bracket based on seeding. right now with seeds placed, coaches can plan before they go in, but if i could go against anyone left on the board, I may vote for teams differently. If someone does a team dishonest, that te...

DOC -- Jackson @ Marietta (11 innings)

Things didn't start well for the Ironladies from the lengthy bus ride as they give up 4 runs in the first and 2 more in the second to trail fast by a 6-1 score to the lady Tigers & Carpenter in the circle. In fact, it would be that away until 5th inning. The Ironladies would leave 8 baters on ba...
