Congrads to Minford and the Westsiders! I guess we will have co-champs. I am sure these Girls will see each again real soon! They have had a couple a meetings and they have been real good, interesting with some tough playing. Let them hook it up again and lets see what happens..Again congrads girls!...

Who cares if someone was sick!! The roads were very, very bad...Think about it!!! It is the schools responsibility (both schools) to make sure of safe travel to and from the ballgames..That was a good call to send the kids home..A ballgame can be played anytime but a life can not be brought back any...

I think it was rescheduled but not sure on when and where.

I hope this leaque is doing well this year. I coached there last year and loved it.

Minford looks really good, well balanced overall.

These West Siders have made me a Big fan , I have never been a Portsmouth West, Portsmouth or Ironton Fan. But I am really into watching the West Siders play. There is a big future there I think.

I am glad you posted all their names, because I would not want to leave no one out. I just come to watch and these girls are excellent. I only go by the names I hear from the crowd. But they do not have any weakness accross the board other than the fouls, then they struggle.

The Westsiders have several excellent players. Do not know all their names but look several really good. One named Abby, Lauren and the Leader girl looks real special.

West plays the lady oaks at 10 am at s. webster.This is 7 th grade. I look for the westsiders after watching both play last weekend.

Watched West cruise through their first game with ease. Lady Oaks 7th grade won but had trouble. Oaks won by two. West won by about 25.

watched the 7th grade Lady Oaks today and was not that all impressed. Might have a hard time making it through the torney in south webster.

So the Lady Oaks 7th Grade are not undefeated?

This is one of the most balanced Jr. High teams I have seen at this level. I know that they have a lot to look forward to in the future.

I am very interested to see how this matchup will take form once West and the Lady Oaks meet. Very much interested!

West pretty much handled Minford fairly easily in the fisrt half (18-2) or so until a few coaching errors where made but I do not think this will happen in the tourney.

Wow, what a season! How about that Leader girl! Only going to get better, bigger and stronger.
